Lovely little beach next to the grande plage. It seemed crowded but the waves seemed calmer. There were no cabins to rent here so I preferred the grande plage. It’s also surrounded by restaurants and music.

Little beach but full of love. The sand is always humid but a nice place to go and have a bath in a quietly place.

A nice wide sandy beach mainly given over to surfers. The designated area for swimmers seemed to be invaded by surfers with little controls but they would have been difficult. Not keen on the cyclists of Biarritz either but it is a lovely town centre beach and great people watching

The only place where one can swim on the Biarritz coasts, calm, accommodative, with good cafes around, centrally located. Recommended.

Definitely check this beach and boardwalk out. A really nice spot surrounded by cool restaurants and novelty places. The scenery is beautiful.

It is significant that this is the locals' favourite beach in Biarritz. It is not handicap accessible but it is possible to enter from the Place du Port Vieux by stairs; a paid parking lot (50 places) is found there. In season, the easiest way to get here is to use the shuttle from Cote des Basques Beach (free) or park in the lot Sainte Eugenie. Despite being the smallest of 3 beaches in this seaside town it is also the most charming with its oval form, surrounded by impressive arcades which offer protection from the elements, making it great for families with children. However, swimmers need to be careful at all times as a rising swell it can be very dangerous, especially in winter when huge waves roll in. There are lifeguards from June to the end of September. We enjoyed the magnificent scenery and stunning views, especially in the evenings - the Rocher de la Vierge (Rock of the Virgin), shaped like a long hull of a ship, dominated by a statue of the Virgin, is lovely in the distance. It is cleaned daily which is a major plus. There are several restaurants and bar in the vicinity and a restaurant is also available on the beach. It gets packed in summer but is a good spot for a dip or jog at other times.

Great beach for sunbathing and surfing. It's not always calm enough to swim but you can also sit at one of the restaurants or cafes and people watch.

Beach as fantastic as usual, despite being overcrowded due to the unusual heat for October. Accommodation was very disappointing, beware small premises for two.

Really nice day out. Plenty of parking although spaces a bit tight. Lots of restaurants to choose from and great to stroll along the front and around the bay. The beeches were also very clean.

This was is a picturesque beach nestled in the headland so the water is calmer but the beach is more crowded than 'La Grand Plage'. We enjoyed our walks around it, particularly in the evening as its a good place to see the sunset.
