Interesting part of Bordeaux on the other bank. Excellent, funky, large restaurant serving really good food. We went for brunch and had a great time. Apparently it's a lot of fun in the evenings with live music.
Disappointed. The 'snack' bar food looked unappetising (e.g. noodle salad s in plastic tubs, so-called tabouleh with little sign of parsley). The restaurant is expensive and has terrible acoustics. We were recommended to visit this area on our "Hello Bordeaux" tour.
We were so glad we wandered over to this part of town as it was such a contrast to what's going on across the river in the old town of Bordeaux.
