Such a beautiful setting along the Garonne river - a great Sunday stroll. Gallettes we're made before our eyes and were delicious, as was the cider. We purchased a great and relatively inexpensive 2011 Bordeaux wine and tray of Caneles (so much better than the ones from the chain bakery we had the previous day). We took these back to... More

A wonderful place to visit on Sunday morning. Many stalls selling bread and pastries, cheeses, vegetables, meats, and prepared foods such as paella, escargot, roasted chickens, etc. But my favourite is just get 6 oysters and a glass of wine and sit by the riverside and slurp away. Bliss.

Busy Sunday Market set up along the riverside. Good atmosphere. Stalls selling a variety of produce, cheese, hams, fish, oysters, meat, fruit and vegetables. A nice place to stroll through on a Sunday morning, with seating wher yo can enjoy a breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Lots of food to buy and eat. We didn't have the oysters but everyone else was having them. Buy a lunch and sit on the wall along the river. A very friendly market selling absolutely everything - bread, cheese, salamis, jams, fresh veg and pop-up restaurants along the way.

A leisure time to spend on Sunday, with vegetables, meats, bread, cheese, etc. to buy along the river bank. A good place to have oyster for Sunday brunch.

We did not have breakfast before we went and we walked all the way there from Gare St Jean. Glad that we arrive there at 11 am hungry and tired. The oysters and wine were enjoyed on the little terrace adjacent to the stall where we purchased them. Then there were very hard decisions to be made about other gourmet... More

This is a fantastic location for a farmers market. It starts early in the morning and features all kinds at agricultural products. It is very busy by 11 am. This is a nice place to spend some time by the river.

It is absolutely necessary visiting this wonderful market. I highly recommend go there with your family, friends, anybody. You just have to walk around and smell all the fresh food, fruit, etc that are placed all along the corridor just beside the river. It is wonderful and by visiting the market you will be able to understand western culture where... More

Great Sunday marked near the water, lots of fresh food, bread and oysters. Seems to be the perfect place to start the day and a lot of people enjoyed oysters served with lemon and a cold glass of wine.

We went at 10:00 on a Sunday in september 2016. There were perhaps 30 stalls, quite small for a French market. Some interesting and enthusiastic vendors. Only 1 organic stall, fruit and veg. Worth going for foodies but nothing very special.
