We were near the street and went donw it every day to the golden triangle for shopping and restaurants. It was a nice mix of shops and cafes. Well worth exploring.

Typical shopping street filled with tourists and restaurants. It's good to hang out if you want to shop around the city for clothes and gifts.

My first time in Bordeaux and I went to see this long street that everyone was telling me about. I did enjoy the long walk, the variety of shops make the place unique.

We did do the street by bike. Not sure if it was allowed. The signs were not that clear. But when cycling very slowly, we didn't annoyed the pedestrians. Good thing by bike, is that you don't get tired, as it is a pretty long...More

It is quite the sight. This street is like blocks and blocks long with shopping--shops and shops. You can purchase or just 'eyes shop.' but it is an amazing thing. Easy to get to via the Tram. It has a Sainte-Catherine stop.

I thoroughly enjoyed walking down Rue St Catherine. It's comparable to the Champs Elysee in Paris. It's long and has many many shops. It also connects two squares to each other and is fully pedestrian.

This is one of the principal streets where you can find anything! Also there's La Fayete Galeries with a lot of choices. right on the city center and gives access to several landmakrs.

Shop till you drop or just stroll and absorb the buzz and then enjoy a coffee and something to eat at one of the numerous cafes with indoor and outdoor seating. It can cost you nothing or heaps!

This is a great place for people who enjoy shopping (or just window shopping). There are lots of designer shops as well as other shops and restaurants. It is a very long street so you need to be able to walk.

I enjoyed la rue st Catherine both by myself and accompanied! They have a lot of cheap options for shopping in all the classic shops and food, lots of little branching streets to explore and it's always close to the public transportation. However there was...More
