We took a half-day tour to Haut-Medoc to try some Bordeaux wines. I would probably recommend going on a longer tour, because especially with drive time, there is only so much you can accomplish in 3.5 hours. I’m not sure what other tours Bordovino offers, but if there is one that allows you to stay in just one region for... More

We had a beautiful day touring and tasting in St. Emilion. Veronica was checking often to adapt our private tour to match our desires exactly.

Bordovino offers great tours available in multiple languages around Bordeaux. The guide we had was very nice. The tasting tours are about wine tasting but also about the history of wine in Bordeaux, the wine makers and the castles. We started a little late because the van they usually use broke down but they quickly found an alternative van and... More

This full day experience was outstanding in all respects. The knowledge of Bordeaux wines gained by the participants combined with the visits to two chateaux, one in Pomerol and the other in St Emilion, combined with a visit to the town of St Emilion itself, made this a very memorable day. The arrangements made by Bordovino were first rate in... More

So - you could technically do this tour yourself. Book the car, drive out to medoc, and (if you've booked in advance) visit a couple of chateau for wine tastings. But...we had an excellent guide (Julie), saw two very different chateaux and were shown round by friendly and welcoming guides at both places. Interesting and definitely worth doing...

Our tour guide was Colas who was very informative and engaging. He provided just the right amount of information and fun. The tour started at 1:45 outside the tourist information office as scheduled and finished at about 6:30. We visited two differently run vineyards in the right bank region of Bordeaux and also stopped for a quick mini tasting amongst... More

We were told to meet at Tourist Office at 1:35 to begin a tour. Our tour guide was late and we did not leave Bordeaux until after 2:00. The first chateau was a Grand Cru tour which we very much enjoyed. The 2nd chateau was not a Grand Cru. Wine tasted more like a house wine and we were disappointed... More

I had been on a Bordovino trip to St Emilion a few years ago which was wonderful and this time took my two girlfriends on a Bordovino trip to the Medoc. I was not disappointed; Berit, our guide, was very well educated and informed about Bordeaux, the Medoc and all matters relating to wine. She imparted her knowledge in a... More

Our Guide Christelle made the tour as she was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The two chateaus that we visited were very welcoming and the tours weren't rushed. A visit to the village of St Emillion was an unexpected bonus, beautiful place for lunch.

Visited two chateaus. A village and a merchant. Without a tour you cannot gain entry to these places. Learnt more about wine making in a day then have in many years in Australia. Fascinating and well recommended. Lots of wine tastings two !!!
