Our guide was Jeremy who was very friendly, knowledgable and professional. Having an english mother meant his english was excellent. Our group consisted of only one other couple from Melbourne so the day was easy and fun. First chateaux was in Pauillac and had a good range of original equipment used in early winemaking. Lunch in Pauillac then on to... More

We went to three wineries--Chateau Paloumey--excellent presentation actually took us between the vines to better explain the soils/grapes/weather. Lynch Bage again a impressive complete tour of the winery as grapes were being processed.Chateu Lamothe Bergeron slightly more technology oriented presentation of a very high standard taking us completely through the process from beginning to end. Highly recommend this tour as... More

We had two days of tours (an afternoon in the Medoc area and a full day in St Emilion/Pomerol) and it was a fab experience. After a lot of hesitation due to the sheer number of options before booking, I'm pleased to say all three of us had a lovely time. We learned a lot about the wine making process... More

Our tour guide made the difference in our trip. Her knowledge of the area and the business of wine in Bordeaux made up for the fact that you aren't going to tour Latour - their wine is already sold, they don't need you! The stops we did make were interesting and educational, especially our stop at Chateau Camensac where we... More

We booked our tour through a third party and were not sure what to expect. The meeting point is a little disorganised - lots of different tours start from outside the Tourist Information Office at very similar times - but at the appointed time our tour guide, Jeremy, arrived to greet us. There were only four of us on our... More

What an experience! I booked this trip for my girlfriends 30th birthday present and it did not disappoint. Our tour leader/driver 'Boris' was brilliant throughout. Polite, informative and funny. We were taken to 3 very different wine makers and each was beautiful in its own way. The tour was great value for money (£119 per head) and there was no... More

Karim was a knowledgable guide who kept us informed and interested the entire day. Three very different wineries, with excellent presentations at each. A stop in St Emilion gave us a break from wine and enough time for a good lunch and a look at the town. I would do the Medoc tour next time with Ophorus.

This full day tour of 3 very different chateaus in the Medoc definitely exceeded our expectations. We learned a lot about wines, winemaking, the various areas and so much more. However, what turned a wonderful tour into a GREAT tour was our guide, Jeremy. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and fun. I would recommend this tour very highly, and, if... More
