Anne is an excellent guide and intentionally keeps the group size small (~6) to ensure an intimate and high-quality tour. She's very knowledgeable about the regional cuisine and shared hidden gems and great tips about Bordeaux.

We had the pleasure of taking the market tour with Ann. You could see her passion for the food of the region and it’s history immediately, which made the time with her so enjoyable. Her experience as a chef also provided further insight into the products of the region and how to use them to their fullest advantage. If you are passionate about food, or would like to learn more about the region through the history of food this is the tour for you. We had an excellent time and and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Anne was lovely. We toured the market and numerous other culinary spots in Bordeaux. She was very kind, knowledgeable and left us with valuable information for the rest of our trip.

My friend has recommended contacting Anne for a personalized itinerary.
This was the best choice that we have done for our vacation.
Anne has spoken with us and understood all of our personalized needs and favorites.
She was in contact with us before and also through all of our vacation.
She made for us a very detailed itinerary that included places to visit, restaurant reservations, hotel recommendations and etc.
She thought about every detail and made us the easiest and coolest trip ever!
She even added google maps link for every spot.
We truly recommend planning your trip with her, cause we have no doubt about having her planing our your next trip again :)

Anne Jordan is an extremely gifted tour guide. She is fully prepared for every tour with inside knowledge and all the facts and figures you could want. She knows the history of the streets, houses, city walls and towers. But what makes her special is her expertise with all things food related. Anne knows the best places to get, well, everything. From wines to cheese, canelés to caviar, spices, charcuterie, oils and more. She knows the markets and the restaurants and is happy to share her love of Bordeaux. A tour with Anne feels like spending a day with a good friend.

Anne's gastronomic tour in Bordeaux was extraordinary! The venues were diverse. surprising, intimate, and relaxed– and Anne's knowledge spans gastronomy, geography, commerce, social history– and I-don't-know-what-else. She is also just a lovely person to spend an afternoon with. But OH, the taste sensations!!

I loved our Market tour of Bordeaux with Anne Jordan. It was both fun and educational. Overall, it was a perfect mix of experiences - from visiting little shops to sitting down for tastings of delicious wines and savory and sweet treats.

In just a couple of days, Simona, our guide, ensured we got a true flavour of this beautiful part of France. From visiting the ancient town of Bazas for gourmet bites and it's sleepy streets, to wine tasting at the Château Caillivet vineyard, wandering along the impressive canals and so much more. Having a knowledgeable local guide meant that we could maximise our time and be sure we were experiencing the true flavours of the area. Simona's enthusiasm and energy are infectious - we fell in love with the place and will be back!

Anne Jordan put together a perfect itinerary for me for the day with my interests in mind which are beef butchery and historical French village like Bazas! She introduced me to people who are as passionate about these topics as I am! Even lunch was on-topic! Highly recommended!!

Perfect organisation. Simona is a star with the kids. It gave us time to tour the wine estate and taste different wines. I highly recommend the tours organised by Simona.
