I enjoyed seeing the bright colors and art in this cathedral. The walk through the petit old town is charming also. It was calm and tranquil to visit. Bayonne overall is calmer than Biarritz and other coastal places.
I am from the area so I think I got used to pass the place, occasionaly visit the cloister but completely forgot how the inside looked like. I have to say, it has nothing to envy to some of the places I visited in Spain...More
