Enjoy the scenic Alsace vineyard during a walking tour, taste local food with our picnic, or ride at your own speed on our Ebikes, through vineyards and quaint villages, with itineraries loaded on a GPS ! Tours are held in English, German, or French ! On demand, we can organise transportation from Strasbourg or anywhere in Alsace ! In a week with several tours and tastings, Marc offered us the singular experience of having a tasting in the vineyard. On top of which, he took us for a wonderful tour through the beautiful Alsatian countryside. The bicycles were excellent and made the hilly route a piece of cake.

We had an amazing morning. The bikes were excellent, the view amazing and our guide was super friendly. He knew a lot about the region and the wines. We tasted multiple wines and ended up buying some (without any pressure from the winary)

The bike tour was great and the wines were even better. We saw the stunning senary of the vineyard and tasted grapes straight from the vine. Marc is an amiable and knowledgeable guide, adjusting the tour to our needs.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits the Alsace region.

Marc was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Great walk through the vineyard and the winery. Marc's border collie followed us for the walk which was also fun. And of course the wines. 9 different types and there was something for everyone. Highly recommend the tour.

Marc was fabulous. His knowledge of the Alsace region and winemaking makes for a very informative, fun tour. The small family owned wineries were well chosen and each offered great, interesting wine that represented the region well. His van was well equipped and made for a very pleasant journey with a fun guide. Loved it!

I can highly recommend Marc and VinoRoute for an exceptional wine tour in Alsace. He is incredibly knowledgeable about wine, wine history, and Alsace. The van was clean and comfortable, equipped with WiFi, and Marc himself is wonderfully friendly and chatty. He picked us up from our hotel, and took us to two wonderful wineries. He also went above and beyond and helped my now-fiancé plan a surprise proposal by taking us to a beautiful overlook of the region and bringing a bottle of crémant from his wife's winery for us to celebrate with. Definitely one of the best days ever, and I will always recommend VinoRoute to everyone I know.

This is one of the best tours I have taken. Marc was on time, very well prepared. His van very spacious and comfortable. It is evident that besides being very knowledgeable about the region, he is passionate about wines and wine production.
We were thinking about renting a car and visiting the wine region on our own, but that would have been a mistake, it would have taken us at least one more full day to visit all the places we visited with Vinoroute and Marc.

I found Marc's tour of Alsace through Tripadvisor when we were planning a trip last year. We were going on a Viking cruise and I wanted to have a chance to visit some smaller wineries without a large crowd. We were doing a Viking cruise from Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam. Before the trip Marc communicated with me through e-mail and asked about our group's interest. My mother went with us and does not drink alcohol. I wanted to incorporated some Christmas markets so the she still got to enjoy the tour. Marc went out of his way to accommodate everyone's interest.
Marc picked us up in Kehl, Germany across the Rhine from Strasbourg. He had fresh pretzels and water available for the four of us. He drove us down to Alsace where we spent the day visiting 3 wineries. We went to two Christmas markets and he chose the last winery so that my mother could go to a pretzel shop while we tasted wine. This truly was a great experience, so much so that my Dad kept urging me to leave a review.
We ordered a lot of wine which Marc arranged to ship, it took some time to arrive, but it's excellent, and reminds us of our wonderful tour.

Thank you for your message. If you plan to spend more than one day for wine tastings, I suggest you to book private tours that can be 100% customized. We can then arrange an extended discovery at several wineries (we work with approximately 12-15 wineries along the Alsace Wines Route). For all the details do not hesitate to contact us by email!

We are traveling with 8 adults on the Avalon River Cruise. We have the afternoon free and interested in a more personalized tour of the Alsace wine country.
Can you accommodate 8 adults and pick us up and drop us off at the ship docking area? We would need the afternoon tour on Sept 19th. 2016 and is the cost still $70.00?

Dear David,
Thank you for your request ! We can organise a half-day tour in Alsace for you, with pick up and drop off at the ship docking area in Strasbourg.
Departure would be at 1:45pm and return around 6:15pm. We can visit 2 wineries for 2 tasting sessions, or "only" visit 1 winery and have time to visit Obernai, traditional and medieval village on the Wine Route and stop in the vineyard for a short walk with a glass of sparkling wine (if the weather is nice).
Our vehicle has a maximal capacity of 7 adults, so if you are 8 adults we will tour in a 19-seats minibus.
The price is 70€ per person, but please understand that I need to book the mini-bus, so I will only confirm you availabilty once you confirmed you want to join the tour with 8 adults.
Do not hesitate to write me an email to finalize the preparation of your winetour !
