This was a great day out. I went with my friends and we spent at least 3-4 hours in there. There are loads of sections: Maths, Logic etc. This wasn't like most science centres I visited, there are some hard Maths puzzles to try if you like a challenge. Overall I had a very good experience and I would recommend it to people.

This museum is not too big, but fun. You can find here many attractions for all the ages, even for adults. Most attractions very informative and interesting. They teaching about physical principles. Price is reasonable.

We stumbled upon Le Vaisseau from a local’s recommendation while on a visit to strasbourg. What a god-send on one of those rainy days stuck indoors with two very young children (1 and 3) who just want to run around. It’s well-conceptualized for young ages (experiment tables at both higher and lower heights), easy to move around with a stroller in tow, restrooms and cafe on site, and you are allowed one re-entry on the same day, which lets you go out for lunch. Great welcome by the staff, clean and interesting learning areas, not too crowded if you happen to be there on a weekday morning, besides some school groups. We found it much better adapted to young ages and less crowded than the geode in Paris. I also recommend l’Ère Végane for a quick lunch break, just a couple minutes’ walk away, serving non-pretentious, delicious vegan food with a small play area for toddlers and kids.

This is a great place for children under 8 years, where they can explore, climb, play, construct etc. If we lived in Strasbourg, we would go there very often....

The Vaisseau is a wonderful place. We spent over three hours and were far from exploring all the attractions and exhibits. There is simply so much to learn, too many things to touch. The kids really loved it, and the did not even know they were learning. The caffeteria offers basic fast food style meals (sandwiches, pannini), even if the coffee was really bad. I suggest arriving before lunch, as the afternoon tends to become crowded (which is less fun).

We visited here on a cold November day expecting to stay for a couple of hours but in the end we had to drag the kids away (6 & 2) when the place closed. It is a little bit away from the city centre but easily reachable to tram. If you are in Strasbourg with kids give this place a visit both them and you will enjoy it.

We went to le Vaisseau on a rainy day and it was the best choice.
It is a science museum with a wide variety of interesting and interactive activities for children and adults alike: a building site, a water play area, a walk in the dark( very funny), human body exploration, learning about animals, funny Maths- to name few of the amazing and engaging activities we enjoyed on the day.
There is also a cafe inside where you can have a snack and a coffee and there are many lockers to keep your bags in ( need a 1Euro coin for it). The security officer checks your bags at the entrance.
The car park outside offers free parking, which is quite a relief in the very busy Strasbourg.
We are definitely coming back here, especially that we still have lots to discover ( and learn).

The Vaisseau is out of the city center but accessible by public transport. It`s one of those " Science can be fun " places and even though I spent a few fun hours there with a twelve year old, I would recommend it for younger children. It`s not very big but there is a nice variety of activities indoors and out. There is also a restaurant and a gift shop.
