This museum is located across from the Norte-Dame Cathedral. Unless you’re into medieval art, I’d skip this museum. Not much is in English. Collection of religious artwork, statues, stained glass and furniture. We went here as part of a 3 Museum pass.

This museum has a lot of older art work. It goes back to medieval times. It’s nice and not to pricey to get in. Worth a look.

Absolutely loved this museum. An incredible collection of art of the medieval ages from church statues to stained glass, paintings and sculptures. Truly fascinating and atmospheric in a gorgeous building. Highly recommend.

We visited on a rainy day. The museum is fairly large and dates from that era. The collection is on three floors. If you enjoy medieval history this is place to go.

We left this until the last couple of hours in Strasbourg on our full day visit. It is well worth spending more time.

Virtually all the artworks displayed are religious in nature and many come from the adjacent Strasbourg Cathedral. The sculptures are particularly attractive and show a wide range of talents and styles. Housed in an old building, the layout of the museum is a bit quirky.
