Basically Strasbourg is a lovely place to visit for a short weekend city trip ans La Petite France is one of the highlights of such visit. The historical neighbourhood has everything for everyone. There is enough history and architecture for people in love with historical places as well as enough wonderful places to enjoy local food and drinks for gourmet... More

Beautiful area of Strasbourg, many shops and restaurants to sample, the river provides a neat background. the city places flower containers throughout--good place to stroll and take photos. Buildings have kept their traditional construction. My wife and I thouroughly enjoyed our day.

A great place to walk around day or night but the true experience is to find a restaurant at night and enjoy French cuisine with local entertainers by the water.

Walking around this area is a must on your visit to Strasbourg. The houses are several centuries old and it feels like you have gone back in time to walk around. There ar quaint shops, restaurants and a few churches. The canal adds interest and is most picturesque. We had a tarte flambé lunch here with good local reisling wine... More

This place is good for pictures and there are cute stores too. But there's not much else to it. There were not many tourists when we went which was nice. I'm sure in the summer it'll be different and there'll be a different, more beautiful atmosphere.

We wandered through here twice because of the charm. Stop to take photos along the water. There are also quite a few nice restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating.

The architecture and layout of La Petite France was beautiful and very appealing. The streets were cobbled stone and lovely to view, but difficult to walk on, and made the stroller jostle in a way the kids loved. There are many shops and romantic places to take in the beautiful surroundings.

The food is great, the wine is great, the city is utterly nice, and you cannot absolutely miss this. Colmar is the most beautiful in Alsace, but Strasbourg is beautiful as well.

Wandering in La Petite France will make you discover some incredible gems of architecture as you make your way in the narrow historical streets of the quarter. It gets easily crowded during Christmas Market but it is still worth the visit!

Just beautiful and a lovely stroll. Places are open late and buildings are lit up after dark. Crowded with tourists but worth it.
