It was our 2nd time, taking a boat to get a tour around Straßburg. First time was on a hot summer day in an open air boat. This time was a glass roof boat with A/C. Unfortunately, the A/C was not noticable and the boat was packed. Both times, our visitors fell asleep while the tour. It is a too... More

This tour was included as part of our Avalon cruise. Our guide was excellent. She told us a lot about the history of the area and was quick to point out points of interest. The boat was very comfortable.

This was a nice historical view of the city. It was a tour that had an audio track to let you know what you are seeing. a delightful hour tour.

Soon out of the dock, you arrive at the Loch, and spend a bit too much time going through the process of being raised to the next section, to venture out a little, turn around, then go through another loch to lower to a different stretch. All a bit boring really. Seats have headphones in multiple languages which was appreciated.... More

The onboard commentary was very educational, however, if the walking tours were on during January, I wouldn't have bothered with this cruise. I could easily have walked along the river with a good guide. Having said that, in winter, it can be a respite from the cold for 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the boat could not take us through the locks... More

The weather was cold and a warm boat tour was a perfect break to the Christmas Market craziness, as well as a good introduction to the city beyond the central island. The boat offered clear views and a fact-filled audio guide in a choice of many languages. I learned so much about the history of Strasbourg and the Alsace region... More

I recommend you do this trip first when arriving in Strasbourg. The boat is spotlessly clean, the staff very helpful and at under 14€ offers great value. The tour takes over an hour and you will see everything from petit France to the European Parliament buildings, and the commentary is offered is many languages, and even special ones for children.... Excellent value for money, polite & courteous crew and very informative commentary via multi-lingual headset. The boat was very clean and great views through the glass roof along the route which includes most of the must see buildings of interest in Strasbourg. Highly recommend !

We did an evening tour with Batorama. It was excellent. We could see the city in the day and night as the sun set during the cruise. The audio guide is excellent and there are around 10 languages to choose from, plus guides designed for kids. It was very informative and taught us a lot about Strasbourg. It's easy to... More
