Little Venice is very pretty and great for photographs, but it is very small as others have reviewed, that's why i have only rated it an average. It wasn't anything amazing. There is parking just a few minutes walk away. I think it would be much prettier to visit this place in the summer.

After seeing beautiful pictures online I had high expectations. I ended up being disappointed. Place is very small. Everything was closed I'm assuming because it's off season. I would recommend going in spring or summer.

Did we just stumble onto a movie set??? The cobblestone streets, charming half timbered houses and the dramatic lighting make for a perfectly exquisite French town. Add all that to outstandingly good restaurant and lodging choices and what has been described as the best museum in Europe and what more could you possibly want?

Nice little area just to walk around. This strip is only 200 meters with not that much hustle from tourists or vendors. Nice quiet area

This very small but picturesque part of Colmar evokes Venice in France. Everyone rates this as a place to see, but it is always fun to discover it yourself as you wander around town.

We visited Little Venice and Colmar during our tour of Alsace and we were pretty much pleased with our whole day spent in Colmar. In combination with the Old Town, Little Venice offers a wonderful opportunity to travel back in time and to enjoy the beautiful and colorful architecture of the city. Even if you visit in the late autumn... More

The most beautiful part of Colmar. Not much time needed to explore but so beautiful that you can't stop photographing nearly every house :)

Though it was a gloomy afternoon but we enjoyed the ride. Yes, it 's not like Venice, that's why it named "Lil' Venice', but for us who travel so far from Indonesia, this was a lovely thing to try. Overall it's good, we enjoyed our time riding the boat.

Little Venice forms part of the Xmas Markets at this time of year, and I would gather, without that added attraction, it could be quite ordinary. I drove in to see this as part of a Colmar Districts / Black Forest few days of driving, and this was the most difficult place to find a spare car space. Once found,... More
