Nice statue. You can see it before entering Colmar. A little bit hard to get near it, its inthe middle of a busy road.

Well worth the short drive out of town to see Bartholdi's Statue of Liberty, you can park up in some nearby car parks and walk across the road. Some great photo ops, there's always someone around to take a photo of you!

We didn't realise the statue was coming up but was great to see as we drove past, It's a shame we couldn't park up and take a look but as it's in the middle of a roundabout it's not too safe to do so!

One of the three statues of liberty. It stands in the middle of a roundabout. Compare to the US version it is small but actually it is quite big.

We all know that the statue of Liberty is at New York. But the model of it, which was made by the same sculptor Bartholdi, features in the entrance of Colmar as you come from Stratsburgh. You can visit it from Colmar with a bus line 7. Do not leave standing there alone.

This statue is located in the middle of a roundabout on a fairly busy road so the only practical way to see it is as you drive by. There is another statue of its creator in a nearby park which is more accessible. Still interesting to see all the same.

We read about this statue but didn't see anything on the way into town. We must have entered via the wrong route. On the way out of town, there it was standing grand in the middle of the road. It can't be missed. Seems appropriate after going to the Musee Bartholdi.

Quirky but its location is on an obscure roundabout that dissects an industrial and retail zone out of town. If you can get a selphy safely by dodging the traffic, you could fool some of your friends about your whereabouts! In my opinion this tribute to Colmar's famous son and the artist responsible for its design Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi should... More

When coming into the town, have someone drive around the traffic circle a few times while a passenger on the left side of he car takes some pictures of the small scale version of Bartholdi's Statue of Liberty.
