I really like this place. It’s full of locals and tourists and there is a great opportunity for an awesome picture with the tiles on the pub wall.

Iconic place known mainly for its tiled exterior and unspoilt interior. Friendly locals bar from what we saw. Sadly, part of a dying breed I'm afraid so go visit before it disappears.

I love this place and always recommend it to anyone I know going to Manchester City Centre. It’s a home from home I’ve been popping in for 20 years now and it’s like an oasis in the city centre pub scene. It’s traditional, honest, friendly...More

This wonderful example of an iconic, traditional old fashioned boozer is a great place to visit for a drink when on a night out in Manchester... It stands on a small triangular piece of land and the building itself is Grade II listed... the green...More

We went in this pub yesterday lunch time - the young barman was really nice and informed us of the history of the pub when we asked him. It's a hidden gem - and he had lovely teeth!

Lots of great ales for my husband. I had my usual vodka & Diet Coke. Choice of rooms to sit in - made to feel welcome.

Quaint pub which looks like it hasn't changed much in about 100 years! Real ale, jukebox and a pool table.

Very old and traditional pub. Looks like it’s not changed at all for years. We only stayed for a quick drink but it was friendly enough, I would suggest it’s more of a drinkers pub than say a family one, lots of smaller rooms rather...More

I’m sure they’ll be fine with that. It’s a really relaxed place - but why not phone them first?

They were all very friendly - I was concentrating more on the beer selection than other drinks but I'm sure you'll find something to slake your thirst - as well as a a great welcome
