Good local cinema. The cinema is modern and clean but probably due to there bad record with cleanliness. The food and snacks are very expensive however ticket prices are cheap so it kinda cancels out. Seats are good and comfortable. And screens are large.

Awesome guy. The most friendly of people you could wish to meet before seeing a film give this gorgeous man a big fat chunky pay rise

Cineworld tends to be our cinema of choice because there are so many (11 I think) screens and therefore lots of variety in the film choice. It has recently been refurbished so is nice and clean with comfy leather seats. There is a Starbucks downstairs as well as the usual (very expensive!) cinema snack bar upstairs. During school holidays there are daily showing of ‘family’ versions of popular children’s films at discounted prices. We paid £3.20 per ticket today, which is very reasonable.

Booked 4DX tickets for the new bond film. The seats come in blocks of 4 so we thought that with any form of social distancing in place we would not be within a few feet of anyone else we were so wrong. Also with Stockport now showing the highest covid rates at the time of writing this review within Greater Manchester, that the cinema would take social distancing seriously. How wrong were were, I did mention it to 2 members of staff and they said that no social distancing policies are in place and they are selling all seats regardless of who sits next to each other. I chose to leave my seat after a few minutes and let my wife and son move up a seat leaving a free seat in between the gentleman who was part of another party. No one even checked to see if individuals are in the correct seats. We were in H10,11,12. The seats cost £15 each so are not cheap and it was my choice to leave but I feel that the cinema should take some responsibilities regarding keeping people staff especially regarding the current infection rates. I will certainly not be going back and they should let people know before they book that they do not now have any policy on social distancing and are not really bothered, which the staff I spoke to gave the impression.

Well I gave it a 1,if I could give it 0.1 I would. .went on the weekend with kids to watch star wars , we got there got our tickets from the machine £25 we picked the top raw seats , went to collect popcorn first which came to £10 for large popcorn n drink. Got in to Cinema n went to seats to find some one else on there didn't make a fuss so we let it go then just sat anywhere we were moved twice due to seats all being booked we sat literally right in front of screen (hurt my eyes n ears)we were looked at in funny ways and given rude remarks (we r asain) the people there were very unfriendly rude and racist our first and last visit there we will be sticking to Trafford centre. .would never recommend to family or friends my 12 and 11 year old kids felt bad whilse being in there they said people r saying racist stuff to us.. horrible seating issue, horrible atmosphere, uncomfortable for 2 hours in there .never again!! NOT CHILD FRIENDLY AT ALL.

More like glasses wars!
What a ridiculously stupid system ... but your ticket on line, download it to your iPhone wallet ... arrive at cinema and then join a very long queue at the pop corn counter to get your 3D glasses.
Come on Cineworld ... think about the customer ... you really have no idea ... you need somewhere for people to collect glasses ... particularly when you are very busy.

The ludicrous decision to have the same staff do tickets as sell the food and drink culminates inevitably with massive queues, so that those people who bought tickets in advance miss the start of the film.
If they want to go down this approach at least have all the tills manned.

Never usually do this but this is the worst cinema in Manchester. Got refused entry because my son had no id, explained to staff the he was 15 and had no photo id they said birth certificate would be fine. Driven all the way home and back 40 min drive with his birth certificate and then showed id given the tickets £25.80 for 2 tickets (ridiculously overpriced) to then get refused entry by the manager 'Amy' who was shockingly rude and spoke to us like dirt. Never had this experience anywhere before, 5 members of staff surrounding us including security, we were only trying to watch a film. Don't waste your time going here absolutely ruined our night.

Expensive for a big family members. but we like the new seating and great services... Parhaps they shod do a discount for large families as we have to splash out more on kids with kiddie packages and food in general

I have come here a few times now and think it's a really good one to go. I tried the 4DX and that was amazing it was so good how it uses the different elements to bring you into the film I would definetly recommend trying it out. I also tried the suoerscreen to watch avengers endgame in and I was unsure how it differs from a Imax cinema. Would recommend this cinema as it is really friendly to go to and people are so nice.

Can you take your own food and drink in with you? I don't mean hot food or alcohol, just sweets and cold drinks.
