We have now done several walking tours with New Manchester Walks. Even though we are local to Manchester we always find out new and interesting information, very enlightening. The excellent Town Hall tour isn't currently available due to the renovation work. I can also recommend...More

The experience of many of the reviwers was similarto ours. We were very disappointed by the tour. The inappropritely unprofessional manner of the guide was quite unsuited to conducting a tour and we would certainly not recommend a tour with him.More

Went into Manchester for the 24 Jan ‘Victoria Park in Winter’ walk, having looked forward to it for some time. Found I was the only one to arrive at the start. Weather was fine. Walk leader told me abruptly that the walk would not run...More

You're absolutely right but it's no fun taking one person on such a detailed, long and involved tour. It's not then a tour but one person talking incessantly to another for two hours. It's a difficult conundrum. I do some 500 tours a year. About...More
