So I’ve come here in the past with friends for a drink and could not fault this service and the bar staff / servers were so welcoming. This was midweek.

However, I guess this all goes downhill on the weekend. From this comment you may think I’m visiting at busy times however this was not the case.

I attended on Friday evening and requested a table, the host would not even converse with us and instead decided to whisper through other people to come and tell us. Found this very peculiar but must of thought she way just shy.

Visited today (Sunday) and approached the host station awaiting to be seated, must of stood there awkwardly without even a simple hello or acknowledgement from the two members off staff including the host from my previous visit. Instead they chose to carry on their conversation with not even a look in our direction. To the point I had to just walk off.

I have personally worked in hospitality as front of house for the past 6 years and would never dream of being so rude. As the face of the business, this is definitely not what you need.

Appalled as I have had such an amazing visit prior to this. Just let’s the venue down.

We went into Manchester and we expected it to be busy , however not as lengthy as it was .

When we first joined the que at the lawn club we were told 2 hours wait . There was so many free tables and we couldn't understand why they wouldnt let us in when we wanted to spend money .
The manager eventually came and spoke to the que , who were becoming quite annoyed at this point and when asked why there are empty tables response was that they all booked however they let there customers arrive 40 mins after the booking time even so no one was in the booking que !
When we were eventually in the member of staff was lovely she did give us a complimentary bottle of wine and our experience was as good as can be considering the consequences.
Would go back but would definately book in advance as the que times were awful and the staff wasnt honest about the times either

Lacked atmosphere and personality. Looks great from the outside. But spinning fields is very purpose built so perhaps a lot of the places feel soul less. Staff werent rude, but kinda seemed uninterested and were all sat smoking and discussing bad reviews they’d had on trip advisor which was off putting. First pint looked like someone had weed in it. Flat lager with no head. Had to take it back which they gladly changed. No care or enthusiasm. Won’t return.

We went at 16:20 on Thursday afternoon and it was busy, lots of people all abilities which didn't bother us. Wouldn't feel happy taking the children with us though, too many people taking selfies and not being considerate to others.

Pricing seemed fair, only be warned the cloakroom when I rang up to ask about these charges I advised it was £1 to use the cloakroom facility, however when we arrived it is £1 per bag/item which after a days shopping could get costly.

Wouldn't rush back this year, but as an annual outing for Christmas it isn't bad.

This is so super! It was just ten or so blocks from our hotel and is in the middle of the town. It has lots of high end shops (I am an All Saints fan!) and plenty of places to eat and drink (including The Alchemist, a wonderful cocktail bar). There is a super bar in the middle that has a big outdoor space that plays live music! It is a very vibrant area, absolutely super!

Visited here for the first time last weekend even though I have been a regular Visitor to Manchester for some time. Great space to chill - there was a food market on at the weekend and plenty choice of bars and restaurants to enoy. The Oast Bar was particularly good - a large covered area in the square to sit, drink & eat and a stage with a very good female singer - very easy listening. We did not eat but the food looked great - its basically good quality burgers, steaks .... but cooked on their bbq deli. Very impressed.

If you like designer shops you are well catered for with a massive Armani Store, Flannels, and a number if other places.

For foodies you've got Australasia, Manchester House and Alchemist, with more casual dining options being Giraffe, GBK, Carluccios, Pret and many more.

In summer they host outdoor film festivals, big screen sports and so on, taking advantage of the large grassy areas. In winter they have ice skating and a cool bier Keller type pop up.

On site (paid for) parking is very handy.

My partner and I had a wander. Lively, fun area. Got some good bars. Some lovely buildings. Lovely for a wander. Some of the architecture is fantastic around this area.
