Visited yesterday as an away supporter (Wolves) and found the stadium very impressive. Loads of pre-match activity going on around the ground and found the entry very slick and well-organised. We were on level 3 and found the space quite limited (as well as being...More

Bought the tickets as a present for my boyfriend who is a big Man City fan. Our guide was Martin and I must say that the experience wouldn't be as fantastic as it was if it weren't for him. He knew everything about the stadium...More

It depends on your ticket. I was there and it was free drinks including alcohol but i know of others that had to pay for drinks. It all depends on where you got your ticket from and how much you paid

Hotel for concert at Etihad Stadium (7 Replies)
Am taking my daughter to see One Direction in concert at the stadium and need to book a hotel for the night. Having only been to Manchester a couple of times staying in the centre, I need some help in booking a hotel, the closer to the stadium the better as don't want to walking the streets of Manchester late at night with a 6 year old, the hotel I have seen so far is the Ibis Budget Hotel on Pollard Street. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You'll have a much wider choice of hotels in the city centre. The stadium has it's own tram stop, so 10 minutes on the tram and you'll be there. You may have to wait a bit for your return tram, but it's organized and they put double trams on to get the crowd away. The stadium is served by the Ashton-under-Lyne service.

Hi. I am scheduled to arrive from Dublin to Manchester Airport (Aer Lingus) on 25 Nov. I would like to catch the Manchester city vs Bayern munich match on 25 Nov. I have a few questions which i would highly appreciate replies to: 1. Considering that I would be landing at 6:50 pm and would have to go through immigration (on tourist visa) and would have my luggage, would i be able to reach the stadium on time 2. What time does the match start and the stadium allows spectators latest...More

You won't make it in time, the matches usually start at 19.45....if you have a ticket you will be allowed to get in at any time, but I doubt you will get a ticket. I won't go on, because the chances of getting in are slim.

Travel to & from Etihad Stadium on a Sunday night (2 Replies)
Hi, hoping someone can tell me my options on getting to & from the Etihad on a Sunday night! Flying in to see Coldplay June 10. I hear it's a 30 minute walk or so but my husband has a bum ankle & I hate to make him walk that far if we have other options, like a bus or train or something. Thanks!
