Very poor service

Bad experience from beginning. 2 gift vouchers were paid for as presents but never arrived, after phoning numerous times got told they had "forgotten" to post them. Eventually they did arrive by email, beginning to think if had not rang would we ever have received them.

Recently been trying to get in contact about what films are on no reply thought would give benefit of doubt and took a trip to Manchester especially to be met with big boulders blocking the gates! Tried all numbers and email address and had no reply.

Rip off! Waste of money 2 gift vouchers and no film to watch! Terrible service.

Thought we'd have this a try, would definitely do it again. Obviously they can only show one film at a time as there's only one screen/wall so might have to wait a while for a film we want to see to be showing.

All in all was pleasantly surprised. We were in the front row, not sure if the view would have been as good from the second row.

You tune your car radio in to listen to the film which then uses your car battery - this led to people turning their car engines on and off throughout the film. The noise wasn't too disruptive but it meant lights flashing on and off.

They also offer dominos pizza which you order at the start and is delivered to your car through the film.

Pretty good

Went with my partner to see Batman vs Superman. It's pretty much a white wall that the film is projected onto then you tune your car radio in to hear the sound. The hot food menu is just ordered from the local kebab but you get what you pay for. Pretty good overall

Fun experience !
Mar 2016 • Couples
We visited here March 2016 and had travelled from Newcastle! It was definitely worth the visit, we were not disappointed at all. We arrived an hour early and there were quite a few cars queuing. The gates opened about 40 minutes before the film started and we drove up to the ticket office, before being directed to our spot. It was easy to tune the radio in. We got comfy in our car with blankets/snacks/drinks. The film had good sound and picture quality. It felt quite private watching a film together in your own car. It was a wonderful experience - and we will definitely return every time we visit Manchester.

A few tips:
- Arrive early
- Bring blankets/pillows and get comfy.
- Make sure you can turn all your car lights off.
- Keep knocking your engine on to avoid your battery going flat.
- Be prepared that some idiots race off after the film - there's no need
and no rush, so just take it slow - it was an accident waiting to happen.

Had a fab time, was a really good experience, the staff were really nice, food was good an film we watched was funny, was a bit hard to start cos we had to take the head rests out so the girls in the back could see but once we got comfy it was really good the girls took pillows and blankets, my youngest who is 17 wore her onesie, if we went again we would make sure we took some hand sanitizer for the toilets, apart from that it was good 😀would definitely go again👍

Really nice valentines
Feb 2016 • Couples
Something different to do for valentines. The only minor issue was them not doing Dominoes anymore, which was a bit inconvenient. We also arrived too late to order from their own food menu, so we had to get on Just eat and get a delivery. All in all something nice to do as a change for valentines :)

A good idea but sadly disappointing!
Jan 2016 • Couples
I booked this as a date, with the plan of ordering a Domino's to the car while we watched the film. However, it wasn't until we got there that they told us that this was no longer available. Instead, they gave us a hot food menu. I am (unfortunately) gluten free. There was no gluten free option on the menu at all. When we asked two separate staff members what I could have they simply shrugged, which to be honest was not good enough. So I couldn't eat anything, having saved myself for a nice Domino's! The lad I was with ordered chips and was assured they would be brought to the car within an hour of the film starting. One hour and 40 minutes later, still no chips or Fanta. When they finally arrived they were stone-cold and tasteless, having cost £4 for one portion!!
The actual projection of the film was great, just an extortionately over-priced experience with disappointing service and food choices. I wouldn't bother wasting my money to go again.

Great little night out!
Dec 2015
We love coming here as you can fill the car with all the comforts you like, snacks, drinks, pillows and blankets then sit back and enjoy a good film! Yes it is basically a white wall in an industrial estate but it's quirky and fun! If you're expecting the Imax experience you will be disappointed but for people who just like a novel evening out it ticks all of the boxes! I would suggest taking your own food and we usually call for a takeaway en route as the Dominoes can take a while and in our opinion is a little expensive however if that's your thing it's a good service. We also like that we can take the dogs with us in the back rather than leave them at home whilst we go out. Something we wouldn't get to do normally if it involved leaving them behind! All round a great evening to be had!

AWFUL!
Dec 2015 • Couples
My boyfriend and I booked a voucher with Groupon for a visit to the drive through with popcorn and drinks.
Firstly we struggled to find it. As it says Trafford park it doesn't feel like it at all! It's on an industrial estate with wagons and lorries around! After driving around the same road 5 times we questioned a car park, we didn't think it could be the cinema but we drove in anyway. A dingey car park with a shack (tin shed) with girls in high vis jackets in. We drove over, they first informed us that they don't do Dominos anymore - false advertising on the website. They gave us a menu with hot food listed - a burger type menu. When we parked up we tried to find the FM radio but struggled as it kept automatically switching back to capital which is close to the frequency. Apparently the movie projects on to just a white wash wall. I didn't even stay for it I was so disappointed for the whole experience we drove off. The options for drinks was Coke or Diet Coke and the popcorn is salt only. Don't bother wasting your time when you can go to the comfort of a real cinema rather than watching a crap film on the back of a warehouse wall!!

A class night out
Dec 2015 • Couples
First impressions of the place is that it's a bit of disused land with a white wall at one end. However, you soon get into the whole atmosphere. Sound quality depends on the quality of your car radio as it's broadcast through that. The film projection was faultless and I can see the attraction.

Only downside would be if the weather is bad - I don't think it would be that good a place to visit in the slamming down rain - the wipers would be somewhat distracting!

Food wasn't that amazing, but not badly priced and delivered directly to the car roughly 50 mins in.
