Stumbled across this a while ago by chance and made a mental note to revisit, came back and enjoyed the peaceful setting and simplicity. Artzu fills the walls but not overbearingly, it's about quality not quantity. Particular highlight was the Manchester painted tour pieces by Matt Wilde; featuring a stunning portrait of NQ's Night & Day café with a poster... More

Mass produced stuff which looks like the product of art students trying to make a few quid to supplement their student loans.

Hello Lifeman, We have just updated our address so I think you may have confused us with another gallery. We have been established for nearly twenty years and represent professional artists who have been committed to their profession for many years. We do not currently represent any students or recent graduates. Many of our artists have won awards, scholarships and... More

I was looking for artwork for my living room that represented Manchester my home town. Fell in love with Tim Garner's work - gritty, real and brilliant. Staff helpful with purchase too.

What an absolute joy to stumble upon this fabulous art gallery. It's located in the old Granada buildings that used to house the Coronation Street mob, although I'm pleased to say the old has made way for the new and it is outstanding. I chatted with the proprietor, Nick for some time and he is one of the most genuine... More

I came to this gallery with excitement as I had recently done research on the artists that were being exhibited. Entering the gallery, the man sat behind a computer screen quietly said hello without any emotion and went back to his 'work'. I was obviously interested in the work displayed as I was taking notes and looking closely at the... More

Invited by Manchester Confidential to an evening opening of the current exhibits of this modern gallery tucked away on Hardman Sq. We were happily stunned by the fabulous taster collections on display. Great website too!! artzu.com highly recommend

I found the gallery to be a very accommodating environment to relax and spend time looking at work on the walls and the extensive range of artists portfolios available. The owner was very helpful without being intrusive and enabled me to find the right type of work for my taste. Overall my experience was a surprisingly enjoyable one. I would... More

We hired this venue for a company party and really enjoyed the night. Great place to see and buy contemporary art - everything from paintings, sculpture to photography. Artists included lots of Manchester based artists alongside some bigger international names. Easy to find - right in the heart of Spinningfields over looking Hardman Square where the out door cinema is... More
