Nice little pub

Good impressions on entering this cosy little pub, with a good choice of proper beers. It wasn't busy early Friday evening and the music wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk... read more

A cute little bar, lots of potential but stared at from the minute we walked in by an old bar-fly, then basically ignored until we asked for a menu. Only 14 people in there so not too busy to expect some degree of service. Staffed by young kids who didn't seem to know how to do two things at once.

We were visiting our daughter today and wanted to find a place within easy walking distance of Piccadilly station to grab a bite to eat. After a short wander around the Gay village ( wish we could see it at night with the Christmas lights ) we tracked down the Molly House. The downstairs bar has a great selection of... More

Good impressions on entering this cosy little pub, with a good choice of proper beers. It wasn't busy early Friday evening and the music wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk. 2 of us had been waiting to be served for a few minutes while the barman was serving a coffee paid with a card, he then ignored us and... As getting a good beer in the vicinity of a village is almost an impossibility this pub is an epic find! Met Sally Anne and girl friends here on the Friday night of Sparkle weekend and it was packed. There was the considerable bonus of live and gratis music upstairs by the "tacky tarts". Five real ales on cask mostly... More

The atmosphere was nice and staff is good. They do not have all beers available and is the second time that happens but they compensate it with a warm and friendly place when it's cold outside. I recomend it if you are coming with friends, to have a chat it's ok because music is not to loud, but not for... More

I liked it here. Cool staff, friendly customers and good beer. Not far from Piccadilly and close to the "village" but gave off no particular "village" vibe.

As we were looking for somewhere for a gin or two, this bar was perfect. A massive range of gins, from your normal collection to the more unusual. Very helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere all night. It would have been a 5 star bar review but the food let it down. Trying 2 of the sharing platters between us,... More

I just couldn't believe it !!! In this day and age and in Manchester of all places. We got refused entrance to The Molly House pub, WHY???? Because the door person said they don't allow Fancy Dress in there!!! We were (4 of us) dressed up fabulously ( in glamorous evening attire, smart jacket and evening shirts for the boys,... More
