One of the best places I've visited in Manchester was The Shambles. A lot of people hanging out here and having some beers. Reasonable price of food and drinks! Lovely place to hang-out especially in the evening.

According to the plaque on the front of the pub in the photo, its had various uses in its long life. Its also in a slightly different... More

A really unique pub with low original beams and an interesting upstairs area. Can get a bit crowded as its very popular but the beer is good and sat outside on a sunny day is a pleasure

Pleasant atmosphere even though it was packed. Plenty of space outside though. Good choice of beers and not overpriced
