My family and I have been many times to this haven of quietness and peace. If ever you are in the area please call in and visit the gardens and the cafe. What a beautiful area to come and while away an hour or two in the peace and tranquillity of this place. You won't be disappointed.

I really love the gardens and come often. It is a great place to escape the stresses of city life. Bring a book and a picnic on a sunny day and you will have an amazing time. It has a little cafe that does ice cream, coffees and teas, cakes etc. It has toilet facilities too. It has lovely little... More

I have visited these gardens many times over the years but on this visit was very saddened to see the amount of neglect, with everything overgrown and so many weeds everywhere. Unfortunatley it is no longer a 'botanical'. Such a shame

I stopped by the garden one time I had an appointment in Didsbury. It was near winter and within a rainy city, the garden was flooded with ponds of water and it was hard for me to complete the walk around the park. The place looked dull. I believe it's better to visit the place only in summertime before the... More

Situated on your right as you leave the centre of Didsbury going south, Fletcher Moss Park is a delight. Very popular with locals and others there is much to enjoy by way of formal gardens, wild grasses and flowers and access to nearby open meadows and a short walk to the banks of the River Mersey. Open all year it... More

We were staying near the city centre & looking for somewhere nice to walk. Googled & found this park. We spent a good couple of hours wandering along the river bank, through the woods & in the gardens. Plenty of seating dotted around for a rest & to watch the world go by.
