I first visited this nightclub in 1997 and had a great time. I visited again on the 28 May 2016 and immediately noticed how shabby around the edges it had become. That aside (I have enjoyed myself before in many a 'spit & sawdust' type place) it was the drinks that cause this club to be given only two stars.... More

A little tired in places but always diversifying. Represents the whole LGBT community, The door staff are always up for banter and the bar staff more so. It is a wee bit pricey but it's a club so expect to pay more. A true village venue that's been around for years and knows how to treat its customers right.

We were a group of straight ladies aged late 40 plus. Having been to the mad hatters tea party at nearby Richmond Tea rooms the night before telling the Cheshire Cat and White Rabbit we were in Manchester for the weekend for the Rocky Horror Show for my 50th birthday they invited us to Cruz 101. There were 9 of... More

Ended up here last night with my boyfriend and a girl friend of ours. It was empty when we walked in but found a door to their smaller venue downstairs which was busier so went there. After about 10 minutes a rude middle aged guy came up to our girl friend and told her she "needed to leave", when we... More

Great vibe, fantastic music and polite staff. I recently moved to MCR from Wales; and there is nothing like it elsewhere. A truly wonderful experience.

Please be aware that the door staff are very aggressive. We went to celebrate a same sex hen night and were turned away. While this was no problem as We were all happy to spend our money elsewhere, when one of our party asked why the door man had to be held back by other members . He became very... More

Went here with a couple of friends. Was expecting it to be busier, but the music was good from what I remember! Had a good night in here

The previous reviews say it all, 9 years of living in Manchester the door staff remain the most aggressive and arrogant egomaniacs around. If you manage to get past them, £15 for entry on a Saturday, queue again to pay another £5-6 for a drink. Then your treated to camp pop music and high energy euro pop, and then more... More
