A new venue with a nice mixture of their own products and guest beers. You can also get takeaway cans. They seem to do regular events and the staff is great! Definitely worth a visit

First time I had been, nice atmosphere, excellent choice of beers. However, The place would be improved immeasurably if the staff gave the slightest hint of being interested in the customers. Ill mannered and unhelpful

I was introduced to Beatnikz on a beer tour. Since then I can't stay away.
The range of ales and other drinks is nothing short of wonderful and rather good.
If you're in the area, I'd definitely suggest swinging by.

I first experienced this bar when invited by a gentleman from another restaurant to hear him Dee Jay.
Upon my arrival, I was in the mood for rum.
The barman(Sam) gave me a list. One of the rums was from Manchester. "A Manchester run? That sounds weird" I exclaimed. Sam asked if I would like a smell. Upon seeing the beautiful bottle, I declined the chance to experience the aroma, and ordered a single. Before he had a chance to charge me, I had taken a sip and immediately shouted "Wait! Make it a double"!
It was the most delectable spiced rum I have had. I drank near half the bottle, and bought the security guard one for his end of shift.
Next day, while in another bar, I met a gentleman and lady, asked them if they liked rum, took them here, bought them and 3 other people met that night rum.
Paul(the owner) found out I worked at a brewery, so we sat and sampled beers for a few hours. They have a vast selection of brews, including some guest taps. I also had the pleasure of meeting Robyn, the general manager. She is a strong worker and keeps the patrons and(most importantly) staff happy.
The staff is(by far) the most welcoming, kind, unique, easy going group I have encountered. They are knowledgeable of the offering, and eager to assist in any way.
After that night, I returned every night until departing for home. They even showed The Super Bowl, and I made spinach dip for the staff.
This is my place to go ever time I holiday in Manchester. Being there is like being home.

We visited the Beatnikz Republic bar at the weekend to attend their beer school as large group of 14 guys and it was a superb experience. Great value for money, and you get a proper tour through the different styles and tastes associated with the beers they produce (in their separate brewery). Our guide was knowledgeable about the brewing process and clearly passionate about the beers the company produce. Beers are reasonably priced (in a "you get what you pay for" sense) and there's a great selection. They also offer takeaway cans too, which is great.

Entering the bar, first impressions are it looks a little stark with neon glow and industrial decor, But with great beer and good music the vibe seeps in.
