At the interval of Funny Girl ( which was excellent) my wife went to buy 2 ice cream tubs. She was charged £9 for two small tubs, YES £4.50 EACH. THIS IS DAYLIGHT ROBBERY! I would like to ask the Palace Theatre how they can justify that ludicrous price! I would welcome a reply.

We came to watch funny girl staring Sheridan Smith which was amazing. Just a shame that you put your customers through so much pain. How health and safety have let this theatre remain open is beyond me. My ticket was bought as a gift . Unless you are under five foot tall and weigh about six stone there is no... More

I've been to the Palace on numerous occasions, on this particular evening we watched Funny Girl (outstanding) and were sat in the stalls, great view and the seats are a comfortable size. I have on other occasions sat in the 'Gods' and it is high, the seats also feel tilted like your leant forward so would recommend the stall seats.... More

Last night of 'Funny Girl' glad I didn't miss it. Had a good afternoon. As usual Sheridan as Fanny Brice was wonderful, as was rest of cast.

The palace is the worst theatre I have ever visited. ironic that such a stuffy trashy place is referred to as the palace. If you are forced to visit due to a show being on that you must see, do not book anything other than a stalls ticket. Anything else is far too uncomfortable and will cost you the enjoyment... More

This is a must see show. After accidentally seeing Funny Girl in London, we had to travel here to see the tour and it was just as amazing. The new 'sappy' dance was brilliant. Sheridan was out of this world, and very sweet to meet and great at the end. The dancers were fabulous (Oh to be that elegant and... More

Went here to see Funny Girl. The theatre is a marvellous building & the interior so elegant. The only downside was we had trouble finding it when we walked from the city centre. The blue finger posts didn't give clear directions so we were very close to the time when we arrived. We sat in the grand tier row J... More

Sheridan Smith is a talented actress acclaimed for her performance as Cilla Black, but taking on a role played by Barbra Streisand proved a step too far amid a very average touring musical production that looked a cheap cost cutting show with no sparkle, no glamour, a weak story and dance routines that wouldn't make it through on one of...
