Tour of the Cotswolds from Moreton-in-Marsh

141 reviews
There’s no need to worry about left-side driving, parking, or navigation on this Cotswolds small-group tour. Your friendly local driver-guide looks after the wheel and introduces you to each village and viewpoint—but with such a small group and three different stops for independent exploration, it barely feels like a tour at all.

We were staying bed and breakfast in Chipping Camden, so decided to eat here one evening. The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived, and there was a good choice of dishes on the menu. Recommended!

I needed a room for the night, and the one I got (Room 5) was comfortable, clean and quiet. I got a reduction from £135 to £125, which for a single B&B was still quite a lot of money I thought. The room was fine, though a bit on the dated side. The food was good: a bar snack at lunchtime, a more substantial pork dish in the evening, plus very satisfactory draught cider. Breakfast was well cooked, and served by a friendly face. The atmosphere is entirely what you want in a beautiful Cotswold town.

We booked for 17 people for a family gathering just after Christmas 2017. The pub set us up with three big tables next to each other. We had to pre-order our meal choices via email, and it all worked out perfectly. Food was good, but not amazing. Service was good too. The pub serves nice beers and has a wonderful cozy atmosphere with open fire and low ceilings. A great visit.

Absolutely adore this place. Its such a typical country pub which is what Chipping Campden should be about. The staff are soppp friendly you feel like youve been friends with them for years. The food is fabulous, nice big hearty portions for such a good price. Cant wait to go back.
