- Mary Mariana SpencerUnited Kingdom459 contributionsVery Good View PointThe view point is very good, free parking, no washrooms but it’s just for a short time, can walk around the bottom of the view very good but some bits can be muddy depending on the season. Have some good comfortable shoes if you want to walk around the woods. Just watch out for sheep dung on the grass. I highly recommend it if you are around Chipping Campden is 4 to 5 minutes drive from Chipping Campden town.Traveled as a coupleWritten May 18, 2021
- Tracey GHalesowen, United Kingdom2,016 contributionsStunning viewsA free national trust car park and just a short walk to stunning views. Easy to follow trails. Loads of sheep so watch where you step! Because of this not really very suitable for picnics On a clear day you can see for miles. There is a guide to what you can see which is very helpful Not very busy compared to some parts of the Cotswolds Highly recommendTraveled as a coupleWritten June 9, 2020
- bristolbobBristol, United Kingdom353 contributionsNice walk from hereFree carpark and super views on a fine day. You can follow the footpath markers to do a 5 mile walk passing through Chipping Campden (stop for lunch, there are lots of cafes) and back to Dovers Hill. It's a nice circular walk taking about 3 hoursWritten October 1, 2022

The hill has a free car park suitable for about 25 vehicles and the hill is well signposted from Chipping campden which is about a mile away.
Dover hill was extremely muddy today but the views are worth it.
This attraction is reachable via the Cotswolds way too.
A nice free attraction worth an hour of your time.

Free car park and a lovely long walk through fields and woods. Some nice uphill slopes and steps to add to the exercise and scenic views along the way. There are sheep loose in the fields but they don’t hang around long once they see you.
Walking boots recommended, especially on a muddy day like when we visited.
There are marked routes to follow or you can use an app like AllTrails to follow public footpaths.

Lovely view from Dover's Hill. Site of Robt Dover's Olympick Games. We visited whilst walking the Cotswold Way. On a clear day you can see Wales.

It is a short walk from Chipping Campden but you can make it longer. It’s more difficult with a lot of climbing as well as steps but it’s gratifying. The views at the top make it worthwhile.

This is the first thing we did on our visit to Chipping Camden. A nice easy walk to get the day started. Good views from Dover Hill. Easy access to and from town.

If you cannot be bothered to walk up part of The Cotswold way to Dover's Hill there is a carpark up there. Certainly worth a visit as the views are wonderful & far-reaching. You can walk down the hill into a wood at the bottom - great in Bluebell season.

Really nice views from the top after persistent rain the previous 24 hours. There is a car park there as well for those less mobile. 3 miles from there to Broadway Tower along the pleasant Cotswold Way. 1 mile up the hill from Chipping Campden. Saw plenty of young children make the walk up too so a suitable venue for all ages to enjoy.

How long would it take to walk from Market Square in Chipping Campden ?

There are two similar routes up the hill from the Market Square. They start off the same and if you go straight up its pretty steep and take around 20 mins and some puff. The other route, you bear left into Littleworth. After 2nd house on right there is a public footpath. Follow this up and round to the left and then continue between two houses the path leads you up to fields. This route is slightly easier to walk but was quite muddy when we crossed it! Enjoy the walk - great views from the top.
