Spent over 3 hours in here and was shocked how good the information and history of the town was. Our kids range from 8 to 16 and they enjoyed too.

Visited the museum today, our main purpose was to visit the K.O.Y.L.I museum,my dads regement, which was brilliant, but we took a trip around the museum, which was superb, with lots of exhibits, and information about the history of Doncaster and its surrounding areas.I was suprised how well laid out it was, which made it easy to find your way round. The K.O.Y.L.I museum was really good... More

If you want to learn about local history, it is very much worth a... More

This is a free museum, initially it looks small, but really it is a Tardis. We were welcomed on arrival and spent several hours looking, reading, and learning. The video from the 1930's to 1970's was brilliant. During midweek it was rather quiet making it very simple to get around. The upstairs has various exhibitions although one area was empty... More

Dear Eddie M, We are really pleased to hear that you enjoyed looking round the Museum, and that you got a warm welcome when you arrived. As you so rightly say we are a little bit like the Tardis, with a lot more on the inside than you would expect. Regarding the empty space upstairs; you caught us between exhibitions,... More
