About
Boston Park Farm is still a traditional working farm, our animal trail allows children to get up close with a wide range of farm animals. You can pet and feed most of the animals and on special days we have animal handling sessions. The whole experience is geared up to suit children up to around 10 years old. We have outdoor play equipment, a mini maze and bale pyramid also inside there is a soft play area which is suitable for babies and toddlers and a large indoor sandpit. You and your child can have hours of fun exploring everything we have to offer here at the farm. We have a Maize Maze which is open from Mid July until the end of October each year. Pleas see our website for admission prices and opening times.

When visiting here, please bear in mind it is a FARM. Any weather other than blazing sunshine is going to mean things get a bit muddy, both inside and out. Come prepared wearing wellies and have wet wipes on hand if you’re very particular about cleanliness. Our boys (2, 4 and 4) really enjoyed the wide range of activities (bouncy castle, sand pit, maize maze, climbing frames, indoor soft play, pedal carts, animals to see) and were well occupied for a good 3 hours (having 20 mins or so for lunch). Wide range of food and drinks available at reasonable prices with lots of seating in and out. Looks like they have a party room too. Staff behind the counter were working their socks off serving everyone efficiently. We’re not from the area (called in as a stop off to break the journey for the kids between Filey and Staffordshire) but if we were we would definitely visit again. Booking, especially in school holidays is essential, they also do annual tickets which would be cost effective if you lived nearer. All in all a great stop off, thank you.

We had my son’s birthday party here recently and it was such a brilliant morning. The party room was set up with balloons and the price included animal feed for all the children and small animal petting. The kids got to pet a rabbit and a baby goat which was so cute! There was a cold buffet too and the food was amazing. There were no homemade sausage rolls by the end! Unlimited squash too! At the end of the 2 hours all the kids were allowed to make use of the rest of the farm and we had a great time riding the tractors, feeding the animals, swinging and climbing the hay bales. Would definitely recommend!

Visited here in October for Halloween. Pre booked tickets online prior to visit and as we have a baby under one he was free. Lovely little farm plenty to do easily spend a few hours here. The maize was really good and good for older children to find the flags. The outdoor play area was lovely. We also had a walk around the farm animals and the farm hand got out a baby rabbit to show us which was lovely to see. Had a little bit to eat in the cafe and was decent enough to feed and change our baby indoors. The indoor play was obviously closed due to Covid and we didn’t use the sandpit. The reason for giving 4 stars is that we mainly went for a pumpkin and it was just a section with pumpkins laid out on the grass and not in a field and I did think they were over priced for the size. But that hasn’t put me off returning hopefully in the summer when it’s warmer.

We took or two grandsons aged 3 and 5. £20 for a family ticket. Good assortment of things to do but the place was absolutely filthy. It was so bad I wouldn’t let the boys go on anything in the indoor play areas, they were so grimy. Don’t go near the sandpit. Signs telling you to wash your hands but soap dispensers were empty outside the sheds where you visited the pigs etc. Broken gel dispensers also. Unbelievable when you consider the pandemic. The most fun was seeing the animals and going through the maze. Won’t be going back.

I wasn't overly impressed with this venue. When checking in around 10.10am I thought I was at a nightclub... Wheetus - Teenage Dirtbag blurring out loudly was inappropriate for young children and I thought it was unprofessional.
The farm itself is nicely kept but it's small and to be perfectly honest, a bit naff! There's no activities compared to other farms we've been to like tractor/horse and cart rides, cow milking etc. The play and picnic facilities are however very good but the ice cream kiosk was also a problem... Late opening despite the lady being in there, kept us waiting for a few minutes when advertised as open at 11am and wouldn't give me a 3 scoop ice cream... Found her awkward and I felt rather uncomfortable. My son had a good time which is the main thing but it was no more than an hour and 15 minute outing after an hours drive so I doubt I would return nor highly recommend this venue to others.

This is my favourite farm! They have added areas and updated some stuff but I love the cheap entry price, the animals are great, the staff are all lovely, the play areas are great, the maize maize is great! I love it all! And so does my toddler! It’s such a genuine farm for young children to go and see/feed the animals without charging parents a fortune to get in and then charge over the odds for extras once your in other than animal feed. It’s just got a lovely feel to it and all the kids have plenty to do there. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We recently visited for the big machines event and we all throughly enjoyed it. It was absolutely fab! All 3 boys absolutely loved it and even more so myself. Seeing all the tractors and machines was amazing especially for my nearly 2 year old as he is obsessed with tractors and being able to get on a few of them was really good. The tractor ride was also lots of fun!! The farm was great too, lots to see and do. Will we be back? Absolutely!!

Not a bad little place if you live near by but we traveled and it wasn’t really worth it. Could do with a bit of a clean up in the soft play area, it was looking a bit in need of a scrub. Overall it’s a typical small petting type farm, some climbing frames, ride on tractors and a small sand pit. Probably better in spring and summer as you can be outside more as the soft play area isn that big. Reasonably priced for entry and not a bad little cafe.
Scrub the soft play area especially the baby bit and it would be a smashing little place.

Nice place, fair few animals and the maize was really good. Nice seating areas indoors and outdoors. Animals look well cared for. Facilities good, plenty of toilets, play areas, cafe and snack bar. Reasonable prices and staff very polite and professional. Plenty of free parking and great for disabled people as its flat. Kids rating - amazing!

Visited today for the family magical day, and was very impressed. My 2 year old niece absolutely loved feeding, petting and seeing the animals. The family magical event was very good, and throughly enjoyed. Definitely worth the money. Nice food from the cafe too!
