Brilliant day out

What a great place - vast space with well kept animals, plenty to explore and countless photo opportunities. Remember you'll need extra cash for the gift shop at the end!

When I found out I was going to the Yorkshire Wildlife park I was so excited as I love animals, and seeing them in their 'natural'ish habitat would be such a good day. It's a lovely place to go and the park is very clean with directions to all the exhibits (which is good for me, as I get lost... More

We had a great winter's day out. The place is the right size to be able to go around and see everything and then to go back if you want to see a bit more. The animals are presented in an interesting and exciting way, as well as being respectful of the needs of the different species. The main attractions... More

we love going here with the children. it doesn't have the usual caged zoo feel about it. The animals seem to have plenty of room in as natural an environment as possible. It is clear to see that conservation is key here. You can get up close to some of the animals and even be entertained by the lions roaring.... More

We visit the regularly and find the YWP a very good day out. They regularly update or invest in new attractions and the facilities for the animals look excellent.

This is one of Yorkshire finest attractions and not to be missed! My family and I made our first visit to the park at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The layout of the park has been carefully planned and the animal enclosures are purpose built and very spacious with a number of them providing walk through experiences. I... More

Really enjoyed our trip to this park. The animals had lovely large enclosures and all looked so well looked after. The Polar Bears were a favourite with my two girls (aged 3 & 5). Everywhere was clean and tidy including toilets and cafes etc. There was some building work going on in some new enclosures so will be looking forward... More
