This was really a waste of money, a few lights tucked away in a very small part of the park. the house was lit by coloured upper lights. The children's paintings of the 12 days of Christmas was the best thing there.
Cars were parked on the very wet and muddy grass, nothing put down to drive over meaning a lot of the cars were stuck and had to be pushed out. Not something I will do again.

This is an absolutely beautiful Park leading up to and through Baggeridge park sadly my intended gentle quiet walk was ruined by cyclist they were absolutely everywhere racing past often in groups of 3 or 4 going far too fast even on the very narrow tracks through the woods in fact then one track that clearly says no bikes, one came down the hill out of the trees and my missed by less than a foot. A beautiful place completely spoilt by cyclists.
Something really needs to be done they are absolute liability.
I did wonder if this was just a one off and I was unlucky but other people tell me that it's always like this.

The worst year of fireworks iv ever seen, the fact they put most of the fireworks behind a massive screen and trees is beyond me. Iv been down there every year for about 10 years straight and its now £11.17 (including booking fee) for what exactly! The price of the entry is going up every year and the fireworks are getting worse and worse. Shambles !

Christmas festival, what a waste of time and money. Took our 2 grandchildren to the event had a walk round, brought the kids hot chocolate £5 each. Then a lady said to the 4 year old Santa's grotto is round there follow the lights but be careful it very slippy. Next lady said please be quiet Santa is asleep!!! Walked all the way down to see a santa dummy sitting there surrounded by presents. The kids was very dispointed a lot wouldn't even go by him to have a photo took. There are rides but not all working, a ice rink, and stalls selling things. Really disappointing. Would not recommend it to anybody, waste of time 45 mins and money

My family's experience at Himley Hall Bonfire Night was nothing short of a letdown. We had high hopes when we purchased On Site Parking tickets, but our expectations were shattered from the moment we arrived.

Upon reaching the event, we were directed to an 'Overflow' car park, a significant distance away. The journey to this makeshift parking area took a frustrating 40 minutes, followed by an additional 20-minute trek to the event due to traffic congestion and cars blocking the footpath. This was particularly concerning for us, as we had chosen onsite parking for health reasons within our family.

The breach of our consumer rights became evident as we realised we didn't receive the promised "on site" parking explicitly stated on our tickets. According to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, sellers must provide services with a reasonable degree of care and skill, a standard that was certainly not met in this case. Consequently, we find ourselves with no option but to seek a full refund for the onsite parking we paid for.

Adding insult to injury, both See Tickets and Himley Hall have been unresponsive to our concerns. See Tickets, in particular, has denied our refund request, leaving us with no choice but to escalate the matter to Trading Standards. The lack of accountability is disheartening; consumers deserve to receive the services they've paid for, and in this instance, the term "on site parking" was a gross misrepresentation.

The overall condition of the event site was unacceptable, with ankle-deep mud posing a significant safety hazard. The absence of effective traffic management further compounded the chaos, as thousands of people struggled to navigate between moving cars. This event should have been canceled or, at the very least, organisers should have shown the decency to issue refunds for parking that was never provided.

In conclusion, our experience at Himley Hall Bonfire Night was marred by poor organisation, false advertising, and a disregard for the safety and well-being of attendees. Shame on you, Himley Hall, for falling short of the standards expected from a public event.

We went today for Bonfire night. Paid for premium tickets.

It was cold, wet and disgustingly muddy. The fireworks were decent but it was impossible to walk around especially into the main Fair area due to mud.

Also, some people had no respect for other's space and people were smoking close to you. There was especially a couple who was continously vaping and smoking the whole time near our children and we ended up moving twice (and they had a child thenselves as well). Felt bad for the poor child with all that 2nd hand smoke.

Essentially we paid £70 to walk in cold and mud, passively smoke, stand around listening to songs on a big screen and to see rides from far. Fireworks started about 15 minutes late as well. Will not recommend to anyone. Given that it is expected to be similar weather every time, save your money and do something else.

First and last visit to Himley Hall, as I visited for the Bonfire night display. Paid for pre-paid parking which was gridlocked and closed before we arrived.

There wasn’t even any clear instructions on how to get to the pre-paid parking, so we ended up going around in circles and even stopped at the restaurant to ask where the parking was!

We stayed for 45 minutes due to the severity of the weather conditions. We were not able to walk around safely due to the thick mud, it was honestly very dangerous. At some points I felt stuck and saw families struggle with pushchairs which was really upsetting. The event should have been cancelled for health and safety reasons.

I would not recommend this again!

Can please someone reply on how to get a refund on this as I feel as I’ve been robbed!

Where do I start, this event was an absolute joke we couldn't even get in as the entrances were all completely inaccessible due to heavy soiled mud! Hidden in the T&C's it states no refund unless the event is cancelled (which it should of been) that's 21 quid each down the drain. Such a beautiful landmark ruined by crooked organisers who obviously care only about making money. There was also a queue as long as the eye could see for cars to get in only for them to find out the carpark was closed and they were stuck in their cars. Additionally the cars that were in the car park won't be getting out for some time now as the organisers made them park in the field. Massively overbooked but looked empty as most couldn't even get in. First and last time going to a Himley hall event. Shocking

It was our our granddaughter’s birthday and she wanted to see the fireworks and go to the funfair. This was the first time attending Himley Fireworks and will not be attending again.

The traffic to get there was so bad that even though we had paid for on site parking we could not get anywhere near so had to park and walk over 30 minutes with young children. We were told that the on-site parking had closed anyway so had essentially wasted £20 for parking 2 cars between us. When we finally arrived by foot, it was so muddy, slippery and dangerous at the entrance and the ticket areas and got even worse once we got through the ticket barriers with the mud so deep in most places it covered my whole feet and up to my ankles. By rights the event should have been cancelled due to the health and safely risk.

Once inside, We could not get close to the funfair because of the deep mud and even though we had paid for premium tickets (which was situated no where near the funfair) we had to wade through the deep, deep mud to get to the premium area. Only to find that The premium tent was a bar so not really suitable for children anyway.

We had to cut our evening short and ended up leaving before the fireworks display started, wading through the mud which was really deep in most places. My feet got stuck in the mud several times and I ended up twisting my knee in one leg and straining a muscle in the other leg making it really painful to walk back to the car.

This event should have been cancelled. Shame on the organisers.

Terrible organisation, staff were unhelpful, way too crowded. This place puts profits above customer experience and over sells tickets leading to extreme over crowding. Avoid at all costs. Certainly I won’t be coming back here ever again.
