Not good for your sight really is it especially if people are relying on you to look for places to entertain the kids

Great!
Dec 2016 • Family
This is the perfect place for a family to go to play and let off some steam. Being in merry hill it's nice for adults to get their shopping done and then allowing the children to play. It's all gated so children can't get out of the play area, but it's also quite open in the way it's laid out so you can keep an eye on the children from all angles.

My two year old has enjoyed going since she was able to walk. With a soft play ball out with soft building blocks, a water filled mat area either floating starfish, a ride on, a climbing frame, a inflatable slide with bouncy area at the top, balloon area and a small slide with running water underneath it's got everything to entertain.

The play area serves tea, coffee, fruit shoots, fresh juices and various other drinks and snacks.

Fun play area suited to 2-4 year olds. Spoilt by unfriendly staff and unclean/ inadequate toilet facilities
Nov 2016 • Family
We visited for my nieces 2nd birthday and took her together with my 8 month old son. One plus point is that you do not have to pay for adults, unlike some soft play areas which charge a nominal fee, such as 50p. We paid £3.50 for our 2 year old and £2.50 for the baby. The member of staff at the till was not welcoming, did not acknowledge the children, and stated all the rules to us.
Once inside we found the activities well suited to 2-4-5 year olds but there was nothing particularly targeted at babies, such as a sensory area, which you may find at other soft play areas. My baby enjoyed going on a water bed and in the ball pool, but there were insufficient activities that were suitable to justify the payment for this age group.
There is a large slide with flashing lights, a smaller slide which is clear Perspex and has water running under it, a little netted off area full of balloons being blown around as well as some apparatus to climb on, swing on and traditional soft play, as well as those activities previously mentioned.
The toilet facilities are inadequate. One toilet cubicle doubles up as the changing facility and in a children's venue, we would expect some simple adjustments to accommodate children such as a stool to stand on to wash their hands, a changing table with a strap on it to keep babies secure (strap was broken), a children's toilet seat, and/or some facilities at a lowered height.
We did not eat or drink there and can't comment on this aspect. Overall we spent about 90 minutes there. It was popular but not too crowded as it was a midweek morning.

Clean soft play when babysitting for friends son
Sep 2016 • Family
I was babysitting for a friend's son (16mo) and as the weather wasn't great was looking for a soft play centre that was clean and well managed as had heard some horror stories about some centres in Brierley Hill and Stourbridge.

£4.20 for little kiddies on a Saturday seemed pretty high but no time limits were given and free new socks provided as I was wearing sandals.

There is a specific under 2's section with ball bit, large Lego type soft building blocks for fort building and climbing. My favourite thing was a soft water type trampoline with star fish under the surface that could be moved around.

Downfall it seemed pretty overcrowded and although the here were foods available it was sugar laden crap and slushies to really g then all up before you let hem loose around other children!!

Think this could be improved by a time entry system at a much reduced cost so there were a certain number of heads so every little one has room to have a play, crawl and explore around.

Took mud sighted here with a friend in August 2016! Cheap and a great day for kids! Built up their confidence and they stated they had enjoyed it! Nerf gun area is also at this location as is mini golf! Staff pleasant and helpful! A great couple of hours for reasonable price!

Quest at merry hill I would not recommend
May 2016 • Family
I booked my sons party for the nurf area, we had indoor and outdoor activities planned. We arrived 15mins before the party was due to start, none of the outdoor nurf area was blown up. It was explained me we could do the indoor activities first which was fine.
When it was time to do the outdoor activities the area I had booked was still been blown up and the outdoor activity consisted of..... Children jumping round on extremely wet bouncy castles using little nurf guns.

I paid £240 for this party .. Which consisted of the party children jumping round on a wet bouncy castle getting soaked! Which I could have done in my own back garden by leaving the bouncy castle out all night in the rain!

Kids loved it.
Jul 2016 • Family
We've never been before and took grandchildren. Both under 3. I personally think it's expensive especially if there's more than one child. £3.50 per child. There's an under 2 year old area which is very basic but looks fun. An area for older children with a fab brightly lit bouncy slide and a large balloon pit. Awesome. Area looks pretty clean and I've heard no screaming crying kids. Always good. The coffee is ridiculously expensive, £4.70 for two lattes from a machine. Id bring the children again but it wouldn't be a regular treat. Definitely bring my own drinks next time. Grandkids had a FABIULOUS time and in reality, that's what it's all about.

Good - but understaffed

Great fun, little pricey could do with a package for more than one activity ... Good fun though even if understaffed - if you have a problem you can be waiting a while

Disgustingly dirty!
May 2016 • Family
Visited today with my 1 year old daughter. All was going well until she entered the ball pit and immediately started screaming and asking to get out. The bottom of the ball pit was littered in dirty discarded socks and moldy half eaten food! It looked like it hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. I was also asked twice to not sit on the equipment as its for children only. I wouldn't have minded but I was only doing so to help my daughter on and off the equipment. However older school age children who were racing around the under twos area knocking down the toddlers and generally being a nuisance were neither reprimanded by staff or parents! The entire toddler area was littered with half full hot coffee cups on the floor and edge of ball pit which I had to keep moving out of my daughters reach for fear of her being scalded. It was such a shame as on the whole my daughter enjoyed herself but we will not be going back due the lack of cleanliness!
