The best zoo in the area, there aren't many animals anymore and I wouldn't recommend visiting in bad weather as the animals will be inside their enclosure which on many of them you can't see into. There is one restaurant which is fairly expensive, a mini fair good for kids but still expensive for what it is. The gift shop... More

Went to a classic car show there, and got to go round the zoo. Hadn't been for many years and it's changed a lot. Gone are the elephants, grizzly bears and polar bears, and in come the meercats, lemurs and red pandas (my personal favourites). It's a vast site, with lots of animals to see, and plenty of things to... More

Visited here with our granddaughter we got a voucher so we only had to pay for one adult. I would definitely say a pushchair needed for young children and some areas difficult to access but not impossible. Great day out, great variety of animals and plenty of picnic areas. I would advise taking your own lunch and drinks as these... More

Having not been for a number of years I returned with my family to find the zoo has had a number of refurbishment projects. Great day despite the rain

Much improved enclosures for the animals, knowledgeable keepers to give talks and watch while the animals are fed! The Meercats amuse and delight as they display their funny little ways. The castle and keep are great for climbing steps for panoramic views....and the play areas are clean and well attended. One little gripe...the cost of refreshments is a little excessive... More

I took my 10 year old daughter to the twilight tour which started at 5:45pm. It was strictly for people aged 8 and over as there were lots of walking and animal feeding included. The tour lasted for apx 3 hours and were part of a group of 30 people and 2 guides. During the tour we fed animals like... More

Our family of 2 adults and 3 children (aged 8, 3 & 1) enjoyed a good day out at Dudley Zoo. In hindsight we should of arrived before 1300 because we didn't get around to see everything before the zoo closed at 1730. Would definitely recommend Dudley Zoo as a whole day out. Here is what we really liked about... More
