About
Lancaster brewery is a multi-award-winning brewer of beautiful beers, born and brewed in the north west of England. The company has four popular beers that form its core range - Lancaster Blonde, Amber, Red and Black and also produces monthly specials and seasonal beers from our purpose built brewery. We do brewing properly. No fuss, no shortcuts, just proper old fashioned brewing using freshly milled malt, whole-leaf hops and live yeast that, combined with our expertise, produces some of the best beer in the country. Our brewery is open as a tap house for people to come and enjoy a pint, and we offer tours of our brewing process too (which you can buy online from our website as a gift voucher for the beer fan in your life). The brewery is also available to hire as a venue for weddings, parties and events - it is a fantastic venue for a big bash for 50- 400 people within walking distance of Lancaster town centre.

Visited Friday afternoon and will not be going back.
Arrived about 4.30pm and waited until 5pm for a waiter table service only and then another 15 minutes to get a drink. Order a large white wine only did 175ml but at ÂŁ6.20 per glass this was a rip off.
Stayed for a second round waited another 30 minutes for table service to be told it was a twenty minute wait for drink. Thought it might be better to order a bottle of white wine, how wrong was I ÂŁ25.50 for a bottle (absolute rip off).
Then went to order food only to be told we could as they were too busy and it was an hours wait before we could order. The lady at Kelly’s Pizza was very rude and it seemed like we were doing a favour when we got around to ordering three 10” pizzas for £30.
I understand businesses have struggled through lockdown, just as I have I am self employed.
I do not agree with trying to make up for your losses by overcharging and to make it worse offering awful service.

We had our wedding here on Thursday and the whole process was excellent from start to finish. The staff were all so friendly, I must mention Chris and Marie who supported and guided us through the whole process. We dropped off our decorations and they did the rest - the venue looked absolutely beautiful. Everyone commented on how great it looked and the place really made everyone feel so relaxed. If you are looking for a venue to host an event please don't hesitate!! It's absolutely brilliant.

I've been going to the brewery for a number of years now, and I'm really impressed on how they've adapted during the past year. After the first lockdown they focused on their outdoor space and brought in the wonderful Kelly's Kitchen and their scrumptious pizzas - a really good move! It's made me visit the brewery even more!

Since the second lockdown they opened their garden again and who could have predicted how busy it would have been? We were all desperate to get out! I saw the two negative reviews and disagree - the first week they were open was so busy for them but they always provide excellent service and I'd rather be told that there's a wait time (not that there's been such a long wait for me since then).

I think the prices are competitive and worth every penny for quality products (love the Lancaster Blush cider, and the Provino wines too!).

The staff are the star of the show though - I can't praise them enough. Carry on doing a fantastic job! And see you next weekend...

Visited on Saturday for a couple of drinks, young lady on the bar was fab, great service from her, there was a queue for drinks as she was by herself so this was understandable and we didn't mind. Lancaster Blonde is brilliant and well accompanied by a pizza from Kellys Kitchen. Can't wait to go back.

We have friends who live in Lancaster, so one of the items on the agenda is a visit to the Brewery. Again on Saturday and for the second time, it was closed. I noticed on the website this morning that there is no indication of when it is opening this week.
As the restaurant on the Park is also closed, this is not a venue for us to rush back to.

As it is a little bit out of the way I checked the website before setting off, just to make sure that it was going to be open, When I arrived it was closed, as the brewery was booked for a private function. Very poor in my opinion. Why even have a website, if it isn't accurate ?

My wife, her sister and her husband, and I visited the Brewery bar for a lunchtime drink. Due to the relaxation of some of the lockdown rules the bar was open but there are still strict rules to adhere to, understandably. We spent a nice lunchtime partaking in the ales, which are superb. The staff were very friendly, professional and very quick with our orders. We will return at a future time and wish all the staff good luck to and to keep safe!

Only one guy taking orders from 50+ tables. We were advised there is a 40 minute wait for drinks.

Captive market, high prices yet rubbish service!!

Don't waste your time.
