Quite an interesting house worth seeing. However it is a very small cottage so don't expect to be in there too long.

Lovely little museum, only £1 to get in too! You really feel immersed in history in this little house, l just love it! It is right opposite the castle so you can walk across the road afterwards to see that. Friendly helpful staff.

There was much more inside that I realised there would be, spread over several floors. Really interesting, well laid out and informative. I look forward to visiting it again.

Very old and cramped dwelling, giving a rough idea of living conditions at the time. Cheap to go in, so worth a look as you'll almost certainly pass it on your way to the castle.

It is a great place to visit. People there have done amazing job to restore the place and make it look authentic. Would definitely recommend visiting it. Thanks to Christopher, a very welcoming member of staff, for explaining things.

If you are limited in time this is well worth a visit. Gives an overview of what life may have been like without modern day facilities and technology

Take a step back in time in this little cottage museum. Authentic, damp smell, narrow, stone, 5 stories and fascinating to think this is how they used to live!

A lovely little museum of how people used to live. Great to combine with a visit to Lancaster Castle opposite and the Judge's Lodgings just a few minutes around the corner.
