Lancaster Castle is a very interesting place to visit, combining fascinating history with seeing a working castle. Good value for money. Cameron is an excellent tour guide.

Interesting tour. Unique castle. James the tour guide was fantastic, great knowledge and pace! Lovely staff, well worth a visit. Tour lasted approx 60 mins.

Fantastic tour. Guide was Cameron. Was very informative. Well worth a visit. Please be aware there are some steps and some of the floors are a bit uneven.

As the castle is in the town centre there are no substantial grounds to the exterior.

They run regularly through out the day, and there are at least 2 tour guides so if you arrive and just miss one, it’s not long before the next one sets off, following just behind the last group. They allow no more than 49... More
