Dont trust your sat nav, try and follow the little white signs. If you go to the Farm Shop and the Countryside Kitchen you can while away a couple of hours, but don't make special trip for antiques.

The £1.50 entrance fee is a waste of money. This claims to be an antiques centre but in reality most stuff is not antique. A bit like a big car boot with lots of things of little value. The whole place smells musty and damp as you go in as there appears to be no heating. There were a few... More

Eventually found this place as thought it would be brown signposted from A6. We asked a postman! Little white signs pointed the way! Turned into entrance to discover we were on a house building site then saw a car park and a sign saying GB antiques. No greeting as we entered just £1.50 each and given a raffle ticket each.... I have visited many antique centres around the country but never had to pay to enter (£1.50 adult). They claim to be the biggest antique centre in England and although they are extensive the antiques are few and far between - it would be more accurate a claim of the biggest Vintage Centre. If vintage and retro is your thing... More

Bric a brac, house clearance, jumble sale, shabby chic, car boot, tat! £1.50 each to get in! Surly staff! It is no wonder there is an entrance fee as they must very rarely sell anything! What a load of rubbish. The odd item that was of any value had a sold sticker on it! Wouldn't bother visiting again!

We were recommended GB Antiques by several people while visiting the lakes...so glad we made the short journey. It's a great place to have a mooch and to find those hidden treasures.

If you have a couple of hours free and can afford the £1.50 entrance fee, then I don't know of a better way to spend it If you want to search for that missing gem or if you need a piece of furniture then this is the place to go.

Visited for first time today in search of an old coat for a fancy dress outfit. Charge to get in ..OK. huge space and quite interesting to look around but mostly quite overpriced car booty iems. Some nice stuff but it mainly appeared to have sold signs. Eventually tracked down an old tatty coat that fit the bill for £5... More
