Nice small museum, Visited with 2 children (8 & 12 years old) , considering entrance is free the displays are reasonable although quite small and the museum is a little dated now, ie old fashioned, this comment seems odd but other museums we have visited...More

I really enjoyed this. Downstairs there was a local artist gallery when we visited. Upstairs was really interesting. Loads of WWII memrobillia and well laid out. The building itself was stunning.

I took my niece and nephew around this museum (4 and 5) and they were fascinated by all it had to offer. There is a lot of reading to do (which I really enjoyed) but they were happy to listen.

Went here with my grandson at half term, really great little museum with free entry, local interest displays. Special craft week because of half term, grandson (5) really enjoyed it and came away with some new knowledge
