Lovely building which contains a museum, art gallery , information desk and a lovely cafe. There are members of staff to answer any questions and there are also some gardens adjacent from which you can appreciate the architecture of the pump rooms.

My friend and I went to the Royal Pump Room gardens and ate our lunch there on a bench, we then went into the museum & art gallery which was nice. There weren't really any families around just older people and adults. The paintings were nice, and they had a couple interactive things in the museum part.

The Royal Pump Rooms are free to visit and they are very historical. It's very interesting to see how different life was like but only the wealthy could afford such pampering. There is also a small art gallery as well. The Pump Rooms has a small coffee shop and is right in the town centre. Be warned it's closed every Monday!

It was very interesting to go through the exhibits and look at the Turkish bath etc. Those who are interested in history will like it for sure. But, if someone compares it with Bath, they may get disappointed.

The art gallery is superb. The history of the building and surrounding area was so interesting. Well worn a visit.

We were very disappointed, it is all very ordinary and very overpriced. The service was poor, the tables needed clearing and it wasn't even busy. I would have expected somewhere a lot better in the Pump Rooms

Great library, light and airy. Plenty of free desks and plug sockets. The cafe has a fresh atmosphere with big windows to look over the park. Food, as expected, is expensive but we'll made nonetheless.

The Museum is very interesting and has interactive things for the children of all ages to do. The Pump Room section is excellent and there are also lovely paintings to look at. There is a cafe in the complex and a lovely shop selling cards, books and gifts. This attraction is free and not to be missed if you are... More
