Terrible

The customer service is absolutely terrible and apparently you have to bring your passport to prove your age

Very cold and loud
Oct 2019
Four of us went to see the Adams Family in studio 9.
It was very very loud we all agreed and we all had to keep our winter coats on throughout the film .It was warmer in the foyer .
Won’t be going again in winter that’s for sure

Dated
Oct 2019 • Friends
Went to watch the Joker, got to say the place is looking very dated. Very uncomfortable standard seats and the premium seats aren't worth the extra money. It's the second time that we've visited last minute as we couldn't get into the Vue cinema as it's all booked up. This cinema is been half empty or less on both occasions ! Says it all really ! Needs a revamp like the Vue with better recliner seats or even seats that are half comfortable !

Empty for a reason
Oct 2019 • Couples
Initially tried to go to the Vue at the Capitol Centre but the screening was sold out. Made the regrettable decision to visit the Odeon at the docks. Nearly a tenner each for a dated venue, a tiny screen in an auditorium that smelt like a teenager’s bedroom in summer and “Premier” seats that are so in name only. The Vue was a sell-out. We were two of only twelve people in the Odeon, which says absolutely everything.

How the place is still in business is beyond me. There’s a reason why the cinema industry is on its backside, and it’s chains like the Odeon who are doing nothing to help themselves. In a world where you can watch movies in luxury seating with quality F&B, six pound nachos and Echo bloody Falls just doesn’t cut it I’m afraid.

Won’t be coming here again.

Downton Abbey on a cold Tuesday night.

I'm definitely not a person who is always cold but it was absolutely freezing. I haven't been there for about twelve months but it was exactly the same last time. I wouldn't sit at home watching the television, with no heating on, yet they expect me to pay for the privilege. We did ask for the heating to be turned up but whatever they did, it was to no avail.

Shocking cinema!
Jul 2019 • Family
We normally go to Vue but thought we would try Odeon. It’s like stepping back in time, we paid for the premier seats nothing premier about them. More like same seats as standard but with dirty filthy suede on them. Where are they will the modern age of comfortable cinema seating with recliners and leather like Vue! The que to get popcorn or anything for that matter is a mile long, staff taking there time and several tills empty. Shocking sound and positioning of screen. If you are used to a Vue cinema do not go here there is no comparison stick with Vue. I suggest they invest some money in this cinema and sort there staffing issues out!

Wouldn’t come again if it was free!

Great staff + affordable
May 2019
Might not be the biggest Odéon but it certainly does the job. Staff are very friendly and happy to help with any enquiries, and most importantly it’s very affordable tickets compared to a certain other cinema company. Recommended

Diana Ross film
Mar 2019 • Family
Visited here for the first time.As local cinemas were not showing this tribute to Diana Ross. The Odeon has a coffee venue inside, and food restaurants near by.The staff were very helpful. You could buy drinks and treats before entering the cinema.
Seating is very good.
