So I have returned to O Spa after two years for a family celebration. We went for the ‘here comes the girls’ package which is really great value for what you get. I had the back massage, facial and a pedicure and all the treatments were fantastic, really well delivered by experienced and welcoming (well most of them) staff. Kate was particularly amazing. This place is a genuine find and I still think that two years on but this time around the place is looking a bit tired. I raise these items in hope that the owners take them on board and sort them, as I genuinely think this place is 5 stars in the making. So: * We were welcomed by Gill, unfortunately I have to say her customer service skills need some work and whilst she did mellow by the end of the day she didn’t give off a very friendly or calming vibe and on a couple of occasions she was incredibly rude to her own colleagues. When you come to a place like this you want a friendly atmosphere, all the other staff I have to say were great. * The showers in both changing rooms needed a thorough clean and should be stocked with samples of the products you provide to encourage people to buy them, instead there were a selection of half empty radox etc bottles. * The steam room was not working, out of courtesy we should have been informed of this prior to the visit (where possible) * There were a number of broken handles and locks for the lockers in the changing rooms, they need replacing. * All the lockers need to be stocked with a gown, towel and slippers, some were missing items so you had to root around for a full set. * The slippers were from Pepp & co which I just felt lowered the standard. Also from a health and safety point of view are these being sanitised and sealed after use? Sealed sliders are a better option and what I have seen in most other spas and allow for dispossal after use. Alternatively provide reusable non branded slippers but ensure they are sanitised and sealed. * The relaxation room needs a good clean, some ambient music and one of the footstools is broken, you could also do with an additional lounger or at least a larger comfy chair, four loungers was’nt enough. * Finally the staff need to be identifiable and a uniform was worn by some and then not others. I think this always makes it look professional. This place is great, with the tweaks above its 5 star all the way, would I go back absolutely. I hope they can maintain there place as a lovely Solihull Spa.

I had the aromatherapy massage with hot stones. It was great and I will definitely be returning. There was no rush to get dressed and leave the treatment room and I was offered the chance to sit in the relaxation room with a glass of water until ready to leave the spa.

All the girls working there are very lovely and welcoming, the massage I received on my back / neck was absolutely amazing. I felt completely relaxed afterwards and I can't wait to go back again soon. At the end of the massage the lady gave me change to relax and have a drink to wind down. Definitely worth every penny!!!!!

We came to O Spa for my friends hen party and it was such a lovely day. I'm really not a spa girl, but had my nails done which was nice, although during the evening they did all chip and smudge. (I'm not sure if this was something I'd done - as I say I'm not a spa girl!) We had the spa to ourselves so while everyone was having their treatments I could curl up in the relaxation room and actually fell asleep! All the staff were really lovely, and everyone had good things to say about their treatments. Everyone left totally relaxed which is exactly what we were after!

I visited ospa for an intimate wax, and whilst the therapist (not going to name names!) was brilliant in terms of how thoroughly the wax was performed and how comfortable she made me feel with all bared she double dipped the spatula in the wax pot! I wasn't sure what the procedure was for this but after research and visiting other venues for the same treatment I can say that this is not industry standard and a big no no! The first time I went there was only a little left in the wax pot and I thought oh she's just going to throw that away because that bit was used on me- nope- the second time I went it was full and there is no way they would be throwing that away. The room also smelt funny- slightly like pee, maybe they mopped the floor with a dirty mop? I'm not one to leave a bad review as everyone has their off days etc but when it comes to hygiene I think everyone has a right to know. (Especially if your getting your top lip wax after all those hollywoods!!!!!!)
