Beauty and the Beast is a fantastic pantomime. Brilliant performances from everyone. I was a helper on a primary school visit this morning and thoroughly enjoyed the show plus it was such a pleasure to see the children joining in and having such a lovely time. The care and attention from The Core staff to ensure children with additional needs were catered for was excellent. Well done to everyone involved, it has certainly got my Christmas off to a great start.

Went with my family & young (nearly 2 year old) grandson to see the Beauty & The Beast Pantomime on their last performance & was really impressed. Not knowing how our little one would cope in a confined space & not wanting to disturb other audience members, we deliberately got the back seats so we could nip out if necessary, however he was absolutely gripped throughout. Don't know anything about the theatre company who put on the show, but the singing, dancing & costumes etc were all excellent. If I have any criticism at all, it would be it did seem overly loud, particularly for young ears, but it's really only a slight grumble. I've always liked the Core Theatre, particularly as it's small, so even on the back row there's a good view & it didn't disappoint. Also nice to be offered a booster seat for a young child. They seem to have really increased the range of shows on offer too, so definitely going to keep an eye out for further productions.

Lovely little theatre, has nice shows. Cosy inside, with a niceibrary attached. Cheap but lovely coffee shop. Staff are pleasant, nice alternative to big expensive theatres
