Whilst touring round the market town of Tewkesbury we just had to drop in at the museum. A warm welcome awaited us in this historic building. Lots to see and do, we felt very well educated by the time we left. A big thankyou to the staff that assisted us on our visit.

We only spent 30 mins here as it's not very big, but glad we did. The volunteers were friendly and informative. It doesn't have a theme as such, you'll see a collection of Victorian mechanical fayre items, to a school room with information on different people, through to information about the American GIs and how they were accepted into the community, add to that other wars and roman history. It's worth a peep just to feel the history of the building itself

Wasn't particularly interested in most of what was on offer here but I did find very interesting the literature on the Girls school which sadly no longer exists having been amalgamated with another some time ago.
