Brilliant location with excellent facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Views from the hotel were lovely. Only fault was that the bar was understaffed. On the evening we stayed there was a wedding and murder mystery evening on. One member of staff covering the bar and it looked like it was his first night. He was doing his best... More

Thank you for your review and we're delighted you had a great visit. Whilst we're enjoying huge investment with a refurbishment which is first-class, it is the staff who make this property come to life and give it its personality. Thank you also for your helpful comments about the bar staffing and I shall look to address this. I am... More

Visited Tewkesbury Park Hotel and golf with 12 Golfers; an event I had organised. The golf course was in very good condition and in the Golf Shop, Mark Fanning was very helpful. The staff in the hotel were unable to accept money from me for a while as the event manager was away. I cannot understand why I could not... More

Thank you for your review and I am sorry that you had some difficulties during your day on our golf course. I shall be taking up these issues with our operational team, since I too am not sure about the payment challenges. Generally payment is made to the golf shop. The new Tewkesbury Park is undergoing a huge refurbishment and... More

I was planning on holding corporate events at this hotel, thought I would have an incognito look around so tagged on to an aqua tots (babies being taught to swim) session with my wife who uses the pool area regularly. This was a cold March day windchill was just above zero, the pool area has an external door. When you... More

Friendly staff, very good value food, a nice pool and spa, and comfortable rooms, but with so many steps along every corridor (and no lift) this is not suitable if you need to use a wheelchair or pushchair (perhaps if you intend to allow your child to fall asleep in the evening). Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel.

Earlier this year my wife and I took a short break at the Tewkesbury Park and the impression we took away was of a new administration with and excellent team of staff working hard to reverse a long period of decline. Many rooms were in the process of refurbishment but the inevitable consequence was that we shared the premises with... More

Excellent weekend spent here celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday. Great hotel, lovely rooms, great views - we were by the first tee. The restaurant was perfect as we had a separate area on a mezzanine floor where we could dine in a semi secluded setting which was really good as we had a mixed group that included small children. The staff... More

Hmm what can I say other than I was totally disappointed upon arrival. The hotel looked completely different from the pix on their website. The main entrance looks so tacky yet the back looks like a stunning mansion house so these were obviously the photos the hotel uses though it did confuse me as I thought my boyfriend had driven...
