Fantastic day
Aug 2021 • Friends
I played with my regular three playing partners and we all had a great day, I would strongly recommend Drewids Heath Golf club, very friendly a good clubhouse with good food and the course was in great condition throughout, excellent tees and fairways with greens that are challenging and very true,
Many thanks to the greens staff.
Definitely one to play.

Takeaway

We had a takeaway of peri peri chicken, rice & salad. It was so delicious. With the best custard tarts with black currant jus. Great value and yummy.

Takeaway with a difference
Feb 2021
Tried the Spanish theme night takeaway. Paella tasted quite authentic and the churros were delicious. Great initiative by the club. Well done to all.

Friday night takeawsy
Jan 2021 • Couples
Just had a takeaway French meal from Druids Heath GC and it was lovely. Really efficient booking friendly service and a delicious 2 course meal. They're doing a different country every Friday night and we will definitely be joining them on their "globe trotting" again.

Takeaway dinner
Dec 2020
Just had takeaway Sunday lunch from the golf club - offered because of COVID restrictions. Absolutely brilliant - beautifully cooked lamb, couldn't have have got better in a top class restaurant. And service was also first class. They are offering this each Sunday at present, so if you feel like a break from cooking its well worth giving this a try.

Dinner in Restaurant
Oct 2020 • Family
Following the day Drayton Manor theme park we came across Druids Heath Golf Club and booked in for dinner.
We had a wonderful dinner at the golf club, the starters were excellent. For mains we had rump steak and a double cheeseburger and everyone remarked how good it tasted.
Unfortunately we were so full we could only manage one desert between four of us followed by some coffee.

The children who are sitting on a separate table all had three courses from the children’s menu and they were absolutely delicious by all accounts.

The manager Jeanette and the staff really looked after us and we will definitely be returning.

All the tables were socially distanced, there was hand sanitiser located all over the clubhouse and the staff who were excellent we are all wearing face coverings.

Soggy but worth the trip in the end
Jul 2019 • Friends
Played in a Seniors Mixed AM AM, this is the third year we have played in the event. Given that we live 42 miles away that probably tells you all you need to know.
Lovely course, in great condition given all the rain we’ve had recently. There are a couple of cross overs between holes that might confuse so keep an eye on the signage.
Despite the fact that the ‘end of the World’ was forecast we made the trip to the Club ....... we had obviously already payed for four of us to enter so that was another inducement to brave the elements.
I really like the Clubhouse, big open space with a nice bar and separate dining area. Lovely sausage+egg, bacon +egg baps beforehand. Two delightful ladies on the registration desk and a really friendly Professional in a well stocked shop.
All good so far.
On course after a briefing from the Starter it was raining, then stopped briefly. Then it hammered it down for the next ten holes. We saw the Club Manager out in a buggy with a putter checking whether the greens were still playable. The course held up well during the constant rain but approaching the eleventh green there was an absolute cloud burst that flooded the green and finished us off.
Trudged back to the car park, had a brief respite from the rain but not for long, whilst loading soggy gear into the car. Showered, had a lovely meal in the dining room, hot food, hot plates, nicely served by the young ladies. Coffee after lounging on the comfortable sofas whilst waiting for a gap in the continuing rain. Discovered I had won a raffle prize and we were informed that as a result of the dreadful weather, everyone who had played would be receiving a voucher for a free fourball round at the Club.
To be honest they could have gotten away without doing that. Plenty of people had finished the entire eighteen holes and prizes were awarded for the best overall, best front and best back nines. I just think this is great customer service and consideration for people like us who had travelled some distance to be there.
Well done Druids Heath.

Tough course
Jul 2019 • Couples
The course is a great parkland set up with tricky greens. I would say “heathland”. Steepy slopes but all greens and fairways well manteined. Paid 32€ plus 5€ pull cart. As usual in Ireland there were no water supplies on the curse. Bring enough amount of balls.
