Great Local Park
Aug 2019
This park isn't big enough to have a full on walk however it offers a lot to the community in terms of sport. There are tennis courts, bowls and a hard surface basketball/football area too.

The grounds are well kept and is normally locked at night to stop any unwanted behaviour.

Looking tired
Sep 2016 • Family
We have been visiting Clare Park frequently for over 4 1/2 years now, ideal location for a young family.

Whilst we still enjoy the park and my two young always look forward to visiting, it is starting to look a bit on the tired side.

The main climbing frame has been removed, I believe for health and safety reasons. Whilst I don't necessarily agree with its removal as surely any accidents could have been prevented with supervision of children, I understand that sometimes you have to make these sorts of decisions.

The rest of the park could do with a lick of paint and the childproof tiles are starting to come away, will need replacing soon.

Whilst I have been critical, we will still attend the park and support the hard work that does go on at the park.

Love this park

Great park four all. Free tennis courts too! Always kept immaculate with gardeners busy doing their stuff. Always a friendly face around to say hello to whilst walking my dog. A regular haunt for me.

Our local park to talk to, nice kids play equipment and tennis courts for hire. Pretty park with nicely maintained gardens.

This is my local park and we love it, not only do you have the tennis courts but you have the big spider at the bottom that the kids love.

Clare Park is the park that a lot of people use as a cut through, but it has a good playground tennis courts and boules.Lots of trees good seating for its size and kept very well. Its a shame some demented people have ruined the ladies toilets.

Fabulous all year but lovely in Spring
Sep 2015 • Friends
This is a gorgeous park a little way out of the town centre but it is glorious in the Spring. Particularly good are the tennis courts.

A lovely little park
Jan 2015 • Family
A small little park with lots packed into it! It has basketball and football court, Tennis courts, bowls green and a children's play area.

The park isn't usually busy and mostly used by locals as parking is limited.

Great place to visit if you can find a place to park.

An average park
Jul 2015 • Couples
I went to Clare Park for the first time in 30 years. It now has tennis courts, still has the bowls green and whilst pleasant was nothing special and I couldn't recommend it other than for a look around.
