Went to see this years panto "Sleeping Beauty" and thoroughly enjoyed it. Brilliant actors and dancers including the younger cast members. The music and choreography were amazing too. Lots of interaction with the audience, especially Jingles and the fabulous Maid Joan, endless laughs all the way through for young and old. Definitely recommend it as something for the whole family.

Visited the Hazlitt Theatre on a damp Saturday night and saw No Jacket Required the best Phil Collins tribute band around. Friendly staff, good spacious bar car parking in nearby centre Easy online booking system all good here, little theatre dies it well.

Have been attending shows at this theatre for some years now. They have a very varied programme during the year and it's always a pleasure to attend.

I belong to a small group of peripetetic stage crew of old fartes who help out friends when needed in their amatuer and sometime small professional theatrers. Moving set around and handing out props etc. Just a hobby thing. So when the stage manager John Carden of Maidstone Amatyer Operatic Society asked for some extra bodies I did a few... More

This was our first visit to this theatre. We watched a evening of burlesque. Fantastic show. Great price too. I loved the theatre. I thought the seats were perfect. I am little and ALWAYS get some huge in front of me and my seat was perfect. We sat in the first four rows. I must agree with some comments about... More

I went to see An Evening of Burlesque which I thoroughly enjoyed. The venue itself was a bit shabby. The seats were really dirty and worn. There are not enough toilets either, had to miss the start of the second half after queuing so long!

A wonderful show. The comedy parts and singing were my favourites. It's not a bad local venue but not sure it fits the description of "main" theatre Biggest issue is the seriously poor toilet provision for women. Gents was quiet 21 women queueing outside the ladies door plus however many inside too.

A little theatre which does not have designated parking, although there is parking from the shopping centre opposite. The theatre has good views all round so no matter where you are sitting you will have a good view. Maybe a little old school and is in need of an upgrade and lick of paint.

Jim Davidson was performing at the Hazlitt. Booked tickets quite late and was advised not to sit in front row due to having to tilt head back. Chose beginning of row B. Still can understand why a booking fee is always added. Why is this not just added to ticket price. I booked the tickets at the booking office, tickets... More
